Small and charming restaurant located in the center of Gandia. Ideal for lunches and romantic dinners, and also for business lunches. Do not forget to try our Star starters, as Scallop Telero, crunchy cod fritters or corn pancakes (Small corn pancakes stuffed with various ingredients) typical dish from Gandia. We make some of the best rice of Valencia, and all our desserts are homemade.

Excellent value traditional Spanish cuisine

My Wife and I ate at Telero twice during the 2015 Fallas week. On both occasions the proprietor was very helpful and explained the menu in English. He also ensured that certain ingredients were absent (owing to an allergy). The food was cooked and presented beautifully. The set menu offered on the... read more

I have been here several timed during the past few years and always enjoyed the food. This year’s experience did not fully match the earlier ones. No comments on the wine, an excellent white Valduero Crianzo, the self-baked bread, and the rich chocolate desert. However, the strip of mackerel with vegetables served on a hard cracker appeared difficult to handle,... More

Just went back to Telero for a follow up visit. Food was still very good, even on a slow mid-week during the off season. Had the mushroom appetizer and it was still very good, recommended. Also had the Telero toast and it also was very good, the final appetizer was the scallop, while the flavor and concept was good the... More

Had a super lunch there. Food was really tasty. Service was friendly and helpful. Wine was gorgeous. Probably a little more expensive than some other places at lunchtime but couldn't fault it. Will definitely be returning soon!

Telero is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The room is very cosy and the staff is very knowledgeable and able to offer great suggestions in English and even French. The wine list is extensive so you won't be disappointed. The crab fritters melted in your mouth and were the best I have eaten. Great grilled, fresh fish (turbot and... More

We visited "Telero" for lunch last saturday, August 23rd. The family warm atmosphere made us feel comfortable in a few seconds. The delicious typical dishes and the excellent service made it an unforgettable day. Whenever we will pass by Gandia no doubt we will pay "Telero" another visit.

We have eaten at The Telero restaurant on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful offering advice when requested. Choosing the wine from a tablet was a novel experience giving more detail than the usual printed list. The food is always exciting and beautifully presented and the menu offers a good choice to... Telero has a family feel but with very professional service. The owner shook my hand and made real effort to speak English, whilst respecting my desire to try out my Spanish and to understand the menu. We shared the front dining area with a bunch of silver haired gentlemen, & a couple with grandma and a new born baby. All... More

We have been coming to Gandia from Ireland and tonight for the first time had a special supper at this family-run business that prepared and served our food with love. Asombroso!
