The greatest asset to this restaurant are the friendly girls, the ambiance in the native style of the restaurant and the great view. Especially to Buntis (pregnant) who looked after us and gave great service and smiled alot. Meals do take a while so if you are not in a hurry a great chilled out place to eat and drink.... More

We entered to eat the daily special, bbq barracuda. Service was exellent, we had a nice table on the beach, all was good... Until we got the food. One of our party of four had fish n chips which was very nice, but the three of us had the special which was grilled on a cold grill and was raw.... More

Small, dark intimate bar right on the beach. Lots of high stools, two bar staff to keep the beers going and a lot of drop in customers. Loved how casual it is, felt like a bar back home but with tropical air, banana trees and sand. Really liked this place, Malapasua's only proper pub.

Not happy about dining there. Dining on the beach is so enjoyable, but as the meal progressed, the disappointment grew only larger. First the red wine by the glass: avoid; it is some sweet lightly alcoholic drink of red color... Staff actually has no idea what wine should taste like. Note the P Masson chablis was ok. We ordered garlic... More

Happy to have found this little gem next to hippocampus. The food was great and the staff was even better. Be sure to enjoy a happy hour of 2 for 1 cocktails between 5-7 pm and ask Bjorn (the bartender) to sing you some classics. Maria the owner is super friendly and can always be found interacting with the customers.... More

Stopped by for happy hour twice and enjoyed the 2 for 1 drink specials. Chatted with owner Maria and met a few nice folks. Place was fairly empty as it was the low season, but I would consider staying there next time. I liked the ship-like rustic ambiance.

I was told to go eat there and it was not pleasant at all. The waitress had no idea about the menu. Then we asked for a tuna burger with out onion or spices, they gave it to us wrong they cooked anoher one again wrong and then they charged us for two. I refused to pay for it an... More

We had our lunch at Magellans and I immensely enjoyed it (my best meal in Malapascua). The restaurant is on the upper floor, has all wooden interiors, lots of seating (bamboo chairs + large sofas / mattresses with cushions if you like to fold our legs and sit). When I wanted buko (coconut) juice, they just sent a person up... More

As you are on holiday, you've got your time. If you go to magellan it is important to do not forget this parameter. THe food is really great, but it takes a while to be served. Waiter informed us that everything is fresh, and so it take time to prepare, but 1 hours 15 for pasta seems a bit long.... More

We stopped by this restaurant almost every day. They had a German hefeweizen in the can and it sure is hard to find good, full-flavored beer in Malapascua!
