Great flavor, great atmosphere but do not go expecting to get your food on the table in less thatn 45 minutes. We have eaten there 3 times over the years when in Puerto Rico. It seems to be the theme all over the island in the better restaurants. I will continue to go there to eat when we are in Puerto... More

The Mampostiao is a small restaurant, no attractive exterior, but exquisite, enter food, their tables has beautiful tablecloths and napkins in fabric. Care is excellent and delicious food. Their menu is varied and for any budget. I recommend it for its quality. Don't be lulled by its building, go and try it. You'll want to.

It has been years since we have been in this place. I was planning to go to another restaurant, but left late home so decided to shorten the trip to this restaurant. It was remodeled (probably long time ago, although it looks in top shape). There were not much cars in the parking lot and when we got in there... More

Delicious food at reasonable prices. It has variety of meats prepared Puerto Rican style. The place is small, very clean and welcoming. The service is excellent. I visit regularly and recommend.

I disagree with the last three comments, the food is by far the best in the area, the overcooked top of the rice is the best part, crispy and inside is delicious. I personally would come back and recommend it to anyone. Also very cheap for astonishing food.

I have been visiting this place during the last ten years. I had dinner tonight and I can tell the difference. Just average food. Nothing to die for. All the seafood we ordered was imported; nothing was local. And too expensive. Service was poor. We had to be behind the waiter to get water. And even with that poor service... More

Went there on Friday night and I really wasted my time. The waiters had a face like they were in a funeral. When the rice came, it was overcooked on top. Told the waiter, he took it back and came back with the same rice, he only removed the black portion. But inside was really bad. There are numerous restaurant... More

Was in town for business, stayed at crummy hotel nearby; but found an absolutely outstanding restaurant here. Most memorable experience. Obviously exceptionally culinary trained Chefs that serve very fine tuned recipes and dishes. It may be worth the price of a plane ticket to return. Be careful walking in the area, construction going on; crazy speedy driver pulling into a... More

The food is great, we order fried cheese as an appetizer, it was great. They have a good variety of meats and fish. The asopao is very good. The restaurant has a nice decoration and it very calm. Nice for couples.
