We ate at the BC for the first time today. It appears to be a cafeteria style - serve yourself setup. The place is not that fancy at all. You get a tray and tell the the food service worker what you would like on your plate. After we (2 of us) got our main course, we were told to... More

Right off rt 2 you can't miss it. Very good service. Hubby had Thai chicken with mixed rice (they were out of regular chicken). Very good he said. & he loved the plain rain soup. Good coffee also. I had the Cubango which was good although the pork was a tad dry. Would come again. They also have free wifi.

A fun, cafeteria-style place with typical dishes and great service located conveniently at the beginning or end of the northern expressway to or from San Juan (depending on which way you’re going). We stopped by on our way to Mayaguez at about 2:30 pm for a bite, and the place was almost full, which is pretty much the way it... More

Restaurant is conveniently located across the street from the hotel. Dining area was clean and appealing when entering. Food was average. Creole shrimp didn't have much seasoning and portion was small. My wife had chicken stuffed with plantains and guava sauce. That dish was pretty good. Vegetables included in the dinner looked and tasted like frozen mixed vegetables. They do... More

THEY HAVE DECAF! After traveling all around PR, no one had coffee, but they did and I was sooo happy it wasn't instant! I had an omelete and my family had breakfast sandwiches... Really good!

El Buen Café is one of those places that's been around forever. What was once but a truck stop is now a small hotel as well. To me, it's always been a required stop on the way to the west end of the island, and has kept up a reasonable level of quality throughout the years. Everyone's experience may vary,... More

Our first bad food experience, and we knew it immediately when we sat down and the table was vacant but had a "residue" smell to it, even though it had been prepped for service and it was only slightly past 1900 on a Saturday evening. We ordered staples from the menu recommended and favoured by our wait staff-- house specialties... More

We stopped based on do a other reviews . You can either get in line and order your food or sit at a table and order. We day and ordered but noticed it was much faster if you ordered (from the buffet area) and then sat down. The food was good but I thought it was pricey for the amount... More

This was a very bad experience and honestly wished we never stopped at this place to eat. After looking for a local place to eat we decided to stop here and try their food. From the start everything was moving slow. Even though the restaurant itself was empty there was a cafeteria area that seemed to have the same server... More
