Lovely place

The restaurant is beautiful. Staff really nice and fast. They are always with you. Food was good but if you don't eat red meat then don't go there. They have only red meat and frozen fish. I asked a fish but I didn't like it at all. The frozen fish isn't so tasty. But the wine is sooo delicious... read more

Misleading menu. Price quoted for main dish does not include side dish and taxes. So if you order a steak (14 euro) and you want fries patatoes or any vegetable with it you pay extra. V.A.T not included either. Disappointing

Stopped here after reading a reference to the 'ham and cheese with wine' in our guide book as we were feeling a little peckish after touring for a few hours. The ham turned out to be the most delicious top quality Serano ham and the cheese a local goat cheese both served with rustic bread and superb wine. The whole... More

we wanted to see this place after viewing all the photos of this bodegas, it is one of the winery in this area, the interior is very very interesting, i had a nosy at the back of the dining area, you can actually see where they brew their wine. well, the service was great, friendly, wine was good, reasonable price,... This restaurant is fantastically well set out & personally I had a great meal here, although my other half didnt enjoy her main course. The staff couldnt have been nicer & we had a good laugh with one waiter in particular. My pork steak was cooked to perfection, but my other half found her ribs contained too much gristle, this... Just what you want when on holiday: a restaurant popular with locals and accommodating to tourists. Fabulous traditional Canarian / Spanish food plus some of the island's best wines, served by helpful staff. The restaurant itself is impressive, in a volcanic cellar-like 'cave', with a charming bar. Everything we ate was delicious, especially the steak, papas arrugadas, mojo rojo and... More

A refuge from the storm which encompassed the South of La Palma. Fleeing this, we had headed up the west coast in the direction of Los Llanos, and found this excellent restaurant just south of Las Manchas. It is in a cave and from the outside, not all that inviting. Inside the atmosphere s very welcoming, the walls being adorned... More

We had spent a long day driving around the mountain roads without seeing a place to eat. Those roads are quiet but "hairy". Tamanca could not be missed, which is one of its highlights. The food was very good, but the pork was too fatty for my wife. The service could not have been better. We would definitely go again

We found this by chance, as we were driving around the island, we decided to stop for coffee.. What a great find, the inside is a cave and seemed to go on forever , it was really good, we were only sorry that we weren't coming back for dinner, but maybe next time for sure. We did purchase. Bottle of... More

We visited this Restaurant after completing a hard walk up into the mountains in January 2015. The restaurant had in the region of 30 other diners at the time and the smell of the food was good. I ordered Fillet of Fish which was a Tuna Steak and my partner ordered cuttlefish which was Octopus. We also had a place... More
