Bodegas Tamanca

Great atmosphere in this restaurant and winery cave, just south of Los Llanos de Aridane. Try their own wines, all at very reasonable prices. If driving past just drop in for a shared starter of Jamon Sarrano and a selection of their wines. Don't stop in the bar walk right through to the restaurant.

We came here for a drink and thought it was so beautiful inside we stayed and ate. Really nice meal, they did me a great cheese salad as I requested a vegetarian meal. The dessert was SO GOOD, I think it was listed as 'traditional dessert' on the menu, it was gorgeous!

Lovely restaurant in a rock/cave. Good meat. Even better wine. Staff very friendly. has a restaurant and a bar area to it so could just hop in for some wine and jamon.

Wonderful restaurant with a good choice of food. Enough to choose from and the food is well cooked and tasty. Staff is very much welcoming and polite. Their local wine from Tamanca winery is excellent as well as the best bier from La Palma - Gara. The prices are not cheap, but still reasonable for the quality you get. Side... More

We had driven past this nice looking restaurant several times while on days out and always spoke about going back to try it out some evening. This week we finally did and it was well worth the drive. The restaurant is set inside a cave and is much bigger inside that I had thought. The entrance contains a small/medium sized... More

The restaurant is beautiful. Staff really nice and fast. They are always with you. Food was good but if you don't eat red meat then don't go there. They have only red meat and frozen fish. I asked a fish but I didn't like it at all. The frozen fish isn't so tasty. But the wine is sooo delicious. We... More

Misleading menu. Price quoted for main dish does not include side dish and taxes. So if you order a steak (14 euro) and you want fries patatoes or any vegetable with it you pay extra. V.A.T not included either. Disappointing

Stopped here after reading a reference to the 'ham and cheese with wine' in our guide book as we were feeling a little peckish after touring for a few hours. The ham turned out to be the most delicious top quality Serano ham and the cheese a local goat cheese both served with rustic bread and superb wine. The whole... More

This restaurant is fantastically well set out & personally I had a great meal here, although my other half didnt enjoy her main course. The staff couldnt have been nicer & we had a good laugh with one waiter in particular. My pork steak was cooked to perfection, but my other half found her ribs contained too much gristle, this...
