I am a regular customer and have noticed the restaurant is generally full of Chinese nationals. The food is cooked for a Chinese palette with liberal use of spicy oils.

I went on trip advisor and found this resturant, we ate here and it was not that great. We had steamed dumplings as entree which all fell apart, king prawns for main which were good. But the chicken and cashew nut was terrible. I'm not a fussy eater but would give this place a 3-3:5 I would try other places... More

We came here as a family and were expecting marvellous creations to emerge from the kitchen, as the dining room was full of people and it was busy. Although the service was friendly and efficient, the positives end there. The food was sub standard. I don't know how else to write it. We ordered three dishes and were only able... More

We discovered this restaurant by chance- we were staying at crystal bay resort, only minutes away by foot. First nights meal was sooooo good We went back a second night with family. Loved the beef hot- dried chilli and schezuan peppers made it spicy and tingly on the tongue. The prawns with sweet, sour and chilli- delicious. Mongolian lamb, fresh... More

Friends told us that this restaurant was the best chinese on the coast. 4 of us dined there and we were not disappointed the selection of food was superb. It specialises in Northern Chinese and our selection lived up to that standard. On our next visit we must try the Peking Duck which looked delicious. The service was friendly even... More

Wanted to try something different so I tried lunch here and was very satisfied. I advised the lady that I wanted to try the 'authentic' dishes rather than 'Aussie ' chinese food. She recommended several dishes and they were all very tasty and good value. I enjoyed the spicy nature and the use of dried chilli .

Best Chinese restaurant on the Gold Coast. If you like hot and spicy food from Northern china, this is the place. Friendly service. The green beans are to die for as are the scallops and the cumin lamb!
