I used to go to mandarin court with my family on a regular basis in the late eighties when it was voted best restaurant. The food was fantastic & I thought the service was good. Then 10 years on I went to dine with a friend at this restaurant when there was a Asian tour group that was in. We... More

We took the family & my sons friend with us for lunch, I have nothing nice to say about the food or service.. Was very disappointed with both.. Will never go back & won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone.

My wife & I enjoyed a superb Meal here. Serving we're very generous & the quality of food was excellent. Lovely staff, great service & a warm atmosphere made this one of our favorite restaurants to dine at in Surfers Paradise. If you like Traditional Chinese food, you'll love Mandarin Court. Highly recommended.

We have been going to Mandarin Court for many many moons now and have watch it slowly fall apart. It was once a great Yum Cha Restaurant but has now become second choice to others. The food is very inconsistent from time to time. As I stated above we have been going here for years. Surely they could replace the... More

We have been dining here for a few years now, the yum char is great! We have only experienced slow service once as the restaurant was quite full. We are happy to keep going back to the restaurant to enjoy our favourite snacks.

The food was... More

Years ago before owner Peter Chan retired, leaving this restaurant in the capable hands of Raymond Ma, I had the job of publicising renovations for this restaurant. This was back in the 1990s and the likes of Sonya McMahon came along to enjoy the opening and see the traditional lion dance, plus a circus of celebrities and media. These days,... More

This restaurant serves very good Yum Cha. They excel with seafood and if you like Soy Chicken Feet, they have it! The steamed dumplings are to die for. The bathroom is not the best, maybe use the one in your hotel before you head out....
