Food good but very expensive

Food is always slightly above average. Authentic decor. But so expensive that we don't go much anymore. Take-away for a family of 4 costing $80-$100??? Way too much.

We went to Mandarin Court one night when we couldn't be bothered cooking. We were staying next door at Turtle Beach Resort, so very convenient. We were able to take our own wine and were charged $3 per head for corkage. There were 5 adults and our 7 year old and decided to order the Banquet. It was delicious and... More

We headed to this restaurant specifically to have yum cha for lunch and it didn't disappoint. There was a good selection to choose from or you could order if it wasn't going past. Service was great. Easy to get to location on the tram line.

Friendly staff, and great food! Prices were a little high but that was inflated due to it being a public holiday. We will come back when we return to Queensland.

As 2016 rolled in, my partner and myself thought to start the new year with Asian cuisine. We had been craving Chinese food for a while so we were anticipating our dinner. As first point of service with the manager wasn't at all welcoming we were then sat to a table squished next to plants overhanging on the table which... More

I have visited the Mandarin court for dinner and lunch and I have to say you will not be disappointed but on balance the yum cha lunch menu is the best. I have been very pleased with the quality it's as good as I would get in most restaurants in the Far East.

Great night out, great food and great atmosphere. Ate here with my family while staying down the road on holiday. Shared 5 meals and each one was excellent! The deserts were magnificent.

We really enjoy Yum Cha at mandarin Court. Good variety, tasty and we found the staff very helpful. We usually go early for lunch B4 it starts to get busy although we went later once and the service took a little longer but still acceptable. Raymond is a very polite host.

Having found our favorite Mermaid Beach restaurant closed (The Thai Restaurant), we decided to give the Mandarin Court a try. It was worth the effort as the quality of the food was far above your average Chinese restaurant. The service was also friendly and efficient. A little more expensive than most, but the good food made up for that.

Went for yum cha and won't be returning, it was very poor quality and staff just didn't care. I understand if it is quiet you wouldn't do many dishes but the ones the menu offered to prepare were not available eithet
