Yes,you pay at this restaurant, but where don't you these days. The wine was beautiful, scallops were lovely and the crab lasagne was everything we've been told about. The whole meal was delicious, and we'd pay it again.

This is the place where you will rub shoulders with the wealthy and the wannabes. Service has in the past been very sketchy, and in my opinion the food and wine is over-priced. Dining is overlooking the famous Tedder Avenue strip for some interesting people-watching. Not a great place for kids unless you have a big budget.

This place is amazing. To start with, the bread is served with not only truffle butter but with a delightfully light and tasty fish mousse (trust me it was awesome). I had the scallop entree - beautiful large plump scallops, bacon, parsnip and gorgeous sauce to tie it all together. My friend had a modern version of a prawn cocktail... More

I have never eaten anything this good in my life and I will most certainly be back and recommending to one and all, well done to the chef that created that masterpiece of food. DELICIOUS

As regular diners at this restaurant over many years, we were bitterly disappointed when recently celebrating a special family occasion. The food was adequate but the service was verging on rude. Even though we live close by we would not recommend this restaurant and would advise diners to look elsewhere.

Warning! This is not a place for first dates or to dine with people you are not completely comfortable with! There were sooooo many little green herbs in our food, I'm certain about 1/3 of our meals ended up in our teeth. Yikes... How embarrassment! However this is not the reason I would recommend against going here. They have all... More

Went to participate in some Latin dancing tonight, only to have to experience a group of people that were very drunk, silly and somewhat dangerous. While trying to dance we had to avoid people falling on us, knocking us, asking us to get off the dance floor so they could do silly moves and breaking glasses on the dance floor... More

The food at Shucks is simply outstanding. The appetizers we had, listed in order of preference, was the oyster medley (6 oysters done 6 different ways), calamari and garlic shrimp. While I did enjoy the different styles of oysters, it may be an affront to oyster conoisseurs who eat it raw, Either way, the oysters were plump and juicy. For... More
