A wonderful experience ~ an array of fabulous seafood to devour. I love their hot fish and chips. Though my absolute favourite is battered sea scallops. You can sit down outside and watch the sunset over the Broadwater.

I found the fish dry and overcooked, chips were very ordinary and the price very expensive. I've had better feeds in small country fish and chip shops .definitely will not be a return customer.

Great options for a local fish shop including upper scale items like lobster and scallop. Also good to just buy your fresh seafood and cook at home. Very crowded, to the point that they limit entrance into the store. Eating areas could be cleaner and bathrooms arent great.

visited this place so many times and it remains an old favourite. If we get friends from overseas or just not from the Brisbane/Gold Coast region, this is the first place we take them. You just don't get fresher fish than this. I love how you can pick your own fish and get it crumbed/etc - I usually get grilled... More

call in for takeaway or sit in the outdoor area - not flash but best seafood on the Gold Coast. Better off getting takeaway and sit on the beach or the broadwater - it is only steps away

We stopped by Peter's Fish Market for lunch today and bought fresh prawns and bugs along with grilled/crumbed Barramundi and a large chips. The fresh seafood was good however the chips and condiments were very average. The chips had been cooked in old oil and the tartare and seafood sauce was bland and tasteless. The meal was quite expensive for... More

Soggy undercooked grilled fish, the scallops had so much batter on them it was sickening. We ordered 4 sea scallops and after 'finding' the scallops inside the tennis ball sized oily batter balls, we actually took a photo of the excess batter, which I am e-mailing Petes directly about - just terrible and not good enough. The only good thing... More

We came here for lunch on our day on the Gold Coast. Enjoyed the setup outside and the ibis wandering added to the atmosphere, even if they were a little intimidating. The packages were clearly advertised, the service was efficient but the fish (bassa) fell apart and didn't taste as pleasant as expected. The prawns however were superb and chips... More
