We came here last year and it was very nice. This year we went there for an early father's day lunch on Saturday and were quite disappointed. The fish wasn't very nice at all and the chips weren't cooked as much as I would like and were a little soggy. The potato scollops were nice but that was about it.

Great place to enjoy traditional fish and chips on the gold coast. Peter always has fresh seafood cooked to perfection.

Plenty of options available. You can choose from various types of fish for your fish and chips. The calamari was definitely very nicely done. Sauces have to be bought separately for between $1-2 per tub depending on what you choose. Nice outdoor area to enjoy your food but can get a little chilly. Would go back again for sure

As the title goes, definitely good food is served here. Customers are given a choice of crumb, battered or grilled as the cooking preference. The fish is fresh. There weren't much service though as the restaurant has a counter service style. Been there twice in 2 days, will definitely go there again before my vacation ends.

When we are down on the Gold Coast, we always make a trip to Peter's Fish Market. There is normally a line-up out the door, and they have even hired a security guard/meet and greet person to let people in and out. Very clean shop, displays are well attended. You can choose your own piece of fish, many species to... More

Not a great selection and what is there is way over priced. (E. G. $52. 99 per kilo for a cooked peice of snapper.. Literally) The calamari and chips were good but really, how hard is that to get right. The prawns were also average. I would look elsewhere for good seafood, this restaurant is definitely over rated and in... More

This place has limited seafood although it's right next to the sea. The oysters were ordinary, fish and chips overcooked and lobster were overdone. And the best (or worst) part was ibis and water rats coming at your table while you eat. I'm sure there are better options elsewhere.

We had a mixed of fried of fish, calamari(cuttlefish/squid rings), prawns, french fries, and Seafood Chowder. We're lucky to get to taste Seafood Chowder - a winter special(we were told). Food came without sauce. So used to condiments we bought from them a tub of chillie sauce. It was more of a sweet chillie flavoured sauce. It was a disappointment.... More

Brilliant fish and chips - told about this little gem by a local and took the advice. Great seafood, pleasant surroundings. Eating out in the sunshine after experiencing a very cold winter meant everything tasted just that much better. Seafood as good as is presented by nearby 'swish' hotel restaurants at a fraction of the price. Recommend a visit.
