Choose your catch and they cook it. Lots of choice. Just have to wait about 20 mins and then You can enoy eating it in the park.
If you are entertaining then this is the place to go as it is right next door to the trawlers and so the produce is fresh
We had recommendation to eat here because of the freshly caught seafood. Feeding a family of 5 cost us $70 for 4 fish, seafood sticks, prawns, calamari and some chips, and 2 cans of drinks. Except for the fresh fish, everything else was pretty average, like any normal fish and chip shops. Don't go out of your way just for... More
Peter's Fish Market is the place to go for fresh seafood on the Gold Coast. They will never ever disappoint. The only improvement required is their outside area - its dirty and disgusting and needs a total overhaul. Also there is never enough space to sit.
What a great place... FRESH, great fish & you can choose! Good batter, fresh calamari, quick speedy service with no frills. NOTE: avoid the "fish of the day" and go with the beautiful fresh local fish on offer.
The chips were cooked in "old oil" totally saturated & tasted disgusting, even the dogs wouldn't eat it! The fish was stale, possibly pre packed.Very dark in colour in one of the pieces the other white. Tasted like rubber. They charge for chicken salt and already salt the food. Potato scallops were thick and again totally saturated in oil that stuck to... More
Brilliant place - simply go round and place your desired fish in a little freezer bag - my fave was barramundi and husband's fave was flathead (de-boned and everything!). Then just go to counter and tell them how you like it cooked, if you want chips etc then go choose your outdoor seat and you will hear your number called.... More
Staying at Sheraton Mirage, our driver on arrival recommended Petes & we were not dissappointed - we went there twice & the food was very fresh & tasty - had dory and the kids meals & enjoyed sitting outside in the early evening. Nice to have a good value meal option whilst on a two week holiday!
Avoid at all costs! Their "Fish of the day" is Basa (frozen catfish fillets) not what is expected next to the fisherman's a co-op. the chips were greasy and the dirt flavored fish uneatable, we left our meals (7 people) uneaten. Expensive and dirty (we had to wipe down our own table as we could not find any staff assigned... More
The oysters were fresh and sweet. We had our salmon and barramundi grilled, it's just simply delicious. The view is simply breathtaking.
