Had a birthday dinner here just recently and the food was superb. Everything was cooked to perfection. Not a big "show" for a teppanyaki but still extremely satisfying. Service was excellent, even getting hot chips for my fussy-eater of a son.

We were at Royal Pines last week for a conference, but got there a night early and 4 of us ate in Arakawa. We love Japanese food and if we have ever eaten anywhere any better, I cannot remember it. The tepannyaki was as good as it gets. Fresh, tasty and brilliantly cooked with the usual flair and fun, without... More

Great restaurant inside the Royal Pines Resort. Friendly service, fresh food and great quality. Like all Japanese restaurants in Aust it is a little $$$ but worth it if you are looking for great food. Lovely surroundings as well. Worth the drive or cab fare.

Best teppenyaki I have had. Not quite as many " tricks" but overall meal was very enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone wanting the teppenyaki experience. Portions were quite large, and staff are friendly and attentive.

Both my wife and I regularly eat at Japanese restaurants. Tucked away at the Royal Pines Resort is a wonderful Japanese restaurant named Arakawa. We usually eat teppanyaki when we aren't in the mood for sushi. We both had a variety of meat and seafood. The food was superb! From the miso soup to the fried rice, even the side... More

Been here for the first time this evening, staff fantastic, felt really welcome, sashimi kingfish was delicious, and the deserts were a real surprise, sensational, would highly recommend.

Enjoyed our dinner at the Arakawa and ate my entire meal with chopstricks...I guess the small bottle of warm sake made the use of chopstick that more challenging but thouroghly enjoyed the meal !

We have been to many Japanese restaurants in most Australian capital cities & this one rates amongst the top We had a la carte as a change from teppanyaki & were very impressed. The deep fried tofu was loaded with flavour as was the duck & seared beef. My personal favourite was the tempura mix & I am a big... More

I really enjoyed eating here. The staff are absolutely fantastic - great service all round. The food is excellent and the teppanyaki great. I particularly love the fried garlic rice. We also tried the soy crispy skin salmon and I loved it - it seems to have been poached and then baked perhaps? Sashimi excellent. The desert menu is quite... More

Dined here the other night again. Staff greeted me warmly and good served was again brilliant. Had a chefs selection sashimi and was very pleased with both the items chosen and amount. Went home well fed and happy to have again visited.
