We arrived late on Friday night. They stayed open for us so we could eat (pizza). It was very nice and well priced. The service was excellent.

We had dinner at the restaurant while visiting a couple of friends from Melbourne that were staying at the hotel. My husband and I had the Tandoori Chicken and it was very tasty and yummy. Our friends had the Portofino which I didnt tried but they said it was nice. Also we ordered the Rocket Salad, it was very yummy.... More

Four of us ate there one night last week during a conference. It was certainly nice and convenient to have a stand alone Italian Restaurant within the hotel, but the food and service was 'just OK'. There were some unusual pizza's to be had, with Duck Breast and Lamb Kebabs, for example. I had the Portofino and it was OK.... More

Unfortunately this restaurant lacks the simplicity of Italian food. It is the Aussie take on Italian. Over thought and totally over cream'd. The only thing more regrettable than the food was the service. The people were very nice but couldn't remember 2 things together and we were always repetitively asking for the same simple things like water and wine.

We ate there 2 nights running (travelling with teenagers). The first night was great. We just had pizza and drinks. The pizzas were excellent and priced appropriately. The next night we went but hadn't booked. They generously made room for us after a short wait however the service was so slow that we could have eaten and left twice over!... More

Fantastic restaurant with great service and even better food. We had Brushetta as an entree - this was just like the food we had in Italy - delicious, followed by a Chicken Pizza with a peach chutney - this was fantastic the combination of flavours was extrodinary - the peach gave it a sweet taste with a bit of zing... This visit to Amici was our second time after visiting Royal Pines a few years back. The service was very good, the waiting staff great, but the pizzas didn't quite match our local pizza shop. Overall, for a family friendly venue at a top class resort, it was very good.

The first impression of this little restaurant at Royal Pines was actually quite good. We were at a big table having a good time and most people ordered pizza but I was the only one unlucky enough to order "The Great Wall" duck pizza. Sounded promising. It had way too much salt in the sauce it was just ridiculous. Wondering... More
