We have been on Santorini 5 times and always stayed in Kamari. Here we have found The Spring at the far end of the waterfront to be a very good place to dine or just get a cup of cappucino. The restaurant is not large but run by a friendly greek family and the food is good. Last year we was engaged and asked if they could make a special meal for us. To our surprice the meal was not only delicious but more than we could eat and to our cappucino, the wife has baked a special, very tasty cake and it came with a drink all free of charge. The total price was not more than we normal used to pay for a meal. If you want a peacefull place with good food, try The Spring! By the way, they make the best cappucino in town.

Good Value

Good food with very reasonable prices. The owner was very nice and convinced us to try is restaurant. We were very happy we did. Also, because we ate lunch there, we were able to use the beach near the restaurant. It was a much quieter spot and didn't get much harassment from the ladies... read more

This place was recommended to us by the manager of our first house (Santa Elena) and given it was our first night in Kamari we thought we'd take the easy option and give it a try. Really glad we did. The food was fantastic-greek salad was so fresh and the gyros to die for. Got another 6 nights here and... More

We came across The Spring on our first morning in Kamari when we were getting out bearings. A lovely man with a goatee beard (Andrea) approached us. We explained we were just browsing as just arrived and weren't wanting to eat/drink at the moment. He was accepting of this and let us go on our way. We walked the whole... More

I ate here once and also spent the day on the beach using the sun beds on another occasion. The food is ok, it's nothing special really but the staff here are really really nice, the waiters are really friendly and provide great service and the drinks are well priced and strong! The main guy, don't remember his name but... More

We decided to eat here as the owner was really friendly and less pushy than others on the strip.Starters were ok but the staff tried to bring main course before clearing the table so we ended up stacking our own used plates and holding them so new ones could be put down. We gave benefit of the doubt but noticed... More

Just came from another perfect holiday in Santorini, as you all might have read my reviews and comments, I have been visiting this beautiful island for the past good amount of years exploring only the best taverns and restaurants. I wish to write a few words about The Spring Taverna in Kamari, might sound rather strange to say that every... More

We stayed in Kamari last week and had 2 meals at the Spring. The food was pretty much on par with most of the other Kamari restaurants, traditional Greek cuisine, well done but not exceptional. However the staff made this one of the most memorable places we ate, not only when we actually ate there but every day as we... More

This is the third time I've been to Kamari in the last four years, and even though it's been two years since the last trip, as soon as he see me walking along on my first night there Andreas smiled hugely, called me over and welcomed me back with an ouzo, even though I wasn't staying to eat. Over the... More

VERY BAD. The waiter at the entrance of cheating !!! says sunbeds free for the whole day and then it appears that this service costs 5 euros! Ordered chips and ice water. We brought fried potatoes with salt and pepper 30 minutes! Water is forgotten. Four hours to us no one else came. When we exit came to pay, we... More
