Description: We have been on Santorini 5 times and always stayed in Kamari. Here we have found The Spring at the far end of the waterfront to be a very good place to dine or just get a cup of cappucino. The restaurant is not large but run by a friendly greek family and the food is good. Last year we was engaged and asked if they could make a special meal for us. To our surprice the meal was not only delicious but more than we could eat and to our cappucino, the wife has baked a special, very tasty cake and it came with a drink all free of charge. The total price was not more than we normal used to pay for a meal. If you want a peacefull place with good food, try The Spring! By the way, they make the best cappucino in town.

We spent 2 weeks in Kamari in June this year, and ate in the spring one lunchtime. The food was lovely, but the manager made the place. When you chat to him, he makes you feel welcome, and he loves to talk about English things he loves like Liverpool FC and Dire straits (albeit there American). Will defo return!

Went 4 times between 18-25 Oct. 1 evening meal on our first night and 3 lunches. Such a friendly welcome. Most restaurants had closed for the season but there were still enough open to have a good choice. All usual Greek and non Greek food on menu and well priced. Family run business and they are keen to make sure... More

Have visited in previous years where the owner has paid special attention to my disabled sister's special dietary needs. Called with my nephew on this occasion and tried the soup made to his wife's recipe which was excellent. The veal steaks were excellent and done perfectly to the way requested. The service was good and there was a good atmosphere.... More

Chose most expensive fish platter, but asked to swop the some items-chef didn't follow wishes and served us items that weren't fresh but had probably been cooked from frozen.Effort made to rectify but cooked in a rush and not with care. Pizza and traditional greek food was otherwise fine , pleasant owner & staff.
