We found this fantastic restaurant after a few days, mainly because we'd been to Thera, Santorini many times before, and had eaten at we places we knew previously. The staff were warm and friendly and were exceptional in their knowledge of food they were providing. The food itself was freshly prepared and was true to Greek specialities. The fish which... More

One of the waiters chatted to us whilst we reviewed their menu and was really informative and not pushy so we decided to eat here. He offered to show us the fish before we ordered and it liked really fresh unlike some of the restaurants on the front. He recommended the sea bream and it was delicious, served with some... More

The food is fantastic, all the Greek specialities cooked to perfection. You can taste that all the ingredients are fresh local and high quality. They also offer sampler plates where you can try many different Greek foods at the same time. Very friendly staff and great service.

Taverna Andreas was a fun restaurant. The night I dined there was "Greek night" with Greek musicians and dancers. It was lively, fun, and the food was very good. I had the meatballs - this is not the Greek name for the dish. I was very impressed the restaurant had a playground area for children, and was handicap accessible and... More

At the tavern when writing this review and my tastebuds are as happy as they can be. It's a must to at least try the appetizers, they are to die for, especially saganaki and the fried aubergines/zucchini. Definetly worth the visit!

Our last night on Santorini this year so we gave this restaurant a visit. Doesn't look spectacular and, unfortunately, it's right next to a main bus stop. As you can imagine there are buses galore passing during the evening. However, don't be put off. The staff are friendly and helpful. My wife and I shared a warm plateful of Fava... More

Great VFM felt like you were in a garden rather than a restaurant. Portions huge so be careful what you order. Hubby opted for sea bream and it was huge and was actually hanging off the end of the plate. Really traditional Greek food and delicious puddings ( one to share is more than enough)
