Fabulous food and nice atmosphere, service was excellent. It made a nice change to be away from the busy sea front. We will definitely return.
Definitely seek this place out as it is good food, the prices are v reasonable and believe me we got to know those that charged more. It is less breezy in the eve as away from the beach and just felt really relaxed - it is on the main road parallel to the beach where the bus goes. The baklava... More
After discovering Bacchus in August 2012 (at the end of our holiday) we enjoyed perfect food and service. This August, 2013, we revisited 3 times and were not disappointed, fantastic food and service and very tasty local wine !! You must leave the main 'strip' and visit Bacchus !! Thanks to Wayne and Sheila from the Liverbirds for recommending it... More
We visited this restaurant twice during our stay and both times the food was excellent. It is situated up near the football pitch on the main road and was recommended to us by some friends. Both the starters and the main course were delicious and the beef stifado was one of the best I have ever tasted! The house wine... More
We were advised to visit here prior to going to the Open air cinema by our hotel hosts. It is on the way to the cinema. They let us know that it is family run and the only place open in the winter. They also said it is very popular with the local residents. Because of where it is (On... More
Our tour operator suggested this place for dinner among others. We were quite excited because the other places they suggested were very good. Unfortunately this one turned out to be average. The service appeared to be cold abd distant and the girl serving the tables didn't say a word to us even when she messed up the order. The food... More
We came here on the recommendation of some local business owners and were not disappointed! This was the only restaurant we visited twice in our week on Santorini. We were welcomed and given the best service. The food was absolutely delicious. The starters and mains are a good size and the tomato balls were the best I had tasted! Make... More
Placed in the more residential area of Kamari, Bacchus is conveniently placed for a pre- cinema supper. It seemed to be a favourite location for tour companies to take their flock before flying home . The food was charmingly served by the owner's son & cooked by his grandma. I would sum the restaurant up as being the Greek equivalent... More
We ate here a couple of times in May 2013. We were staying at Kamari Beach so it was just a short walk to the restaurant. Its run by husband and wife and I can recommend the meatballs, they were the best. I think it may be the cummin spice and the prices are very reasonable.
What is surprising with this restaurant is that nothing was either good or bad.. everything we ordered was .. average! astonishing indeed! people there are friendly, but food had nothing I can remember. Maybe because of the beginning of the season?
