Lovely Greek Taverna

Revamped in the last two years and layout of tables better - less cramped. Food still really nice - home-cooked and authentic. Absolutely loved the moussaka and had that each time we visited! Would recommend if you want to experience a proper Greek taverna. One of the joys of eating out in... read more

This taverna was next to our hotel and after eating there once we returned almost every day. They made a spaghetti bolognase using local herbs and tomatoes that is the best I ever ate. Just ask the owners who served it to me almost every day for lunch. I did change up meals for dinner. The family has owned this... More

The food was nice, but nothing out of this world. Friendly staff, all family. Which was nice. Limited menu so not much to return for. Reasonable prices.

Thought it looked traditional. Food was ok. Seafood pasta chewy. Grilled mix had little flavor. Started turning lights off on us and we still had wine. Reviews rated very high. Must have been off food night. The one great thing - Tomato Balls, loved um, other than ???

We enjoyed this family-run taverna on our first visit, so decided it was worth another go, and we're glad we went back. I couldn't resist another Greek salad and moussakas (well, it's unlikely I'll have it as good in England). The daughter of the couple who run the place recognised us, and made us feel very welcome. Offering 0.35 litre... More

Great food, great wine, attentive staff, not overly busy and reasonable pricing. Must eat when in kamari. Just off beach front, with locals eating as well (always good sign)

This small family run restaurant is a wee gem. We were quite a large group and they did all they could to accommodate us each night we visited. The family are so friendly and the food is so good its a must for any visit to Kamari. Try Uncle Thios aubergine starter or the traditional moussaka and you won't be... More

We only found this taverna on our last night situated up the hill from the beach. Wish we had found it earlier. The people were very pleasant and friendly and the food was fantastic. This is what we had been looking for all week typical Greek taverna with great food.
