Locally sourced food, cooked by family and served with a smile! Very popular with locals and those just passing by. However busy they will always fins a place for you. What attracted us first to this Taverna was the smell of cooking from kitchen when walking past during the day in prep. for their opening at 6pm. To their credit... More

a proper local little taverna offering an excellent evening out, feels like being sat in someones house just having a meal and always a good sign to us when the locals frequent a place too. The menu is good and varied, the food very well prepared and the service is good and friendly. Value for money going on food, service,... More

This is the third year we have visited this tavern . The owners remembered us from last year. Food is good wine even better and the price still even better.

Our tour rep gave us a list of tavernas/restaurants that she liked and this one was the first we visited. The taverna was small and rustic, which we liked, but the staff were not very friendly and the food was average. However, it was busy, so they must do something right. We felt a bit rushed as there were people... More

Great location on Kamari beach with great food. The service was excellent. Fried squids were delicious. The desserts were good too. So many restaurants on the beach so was glad we used Trip Advisor to find this place.

Interesting place. You can't make a reservation and there is often a queue (only open in the evening), although you never have to wait very long. Well cooked traditional Greek food served with a smile. Tables close together and service on the quick side - not somewhere to spend the whole evening but worth going for the traditional food.

What a find! this was recommended by our hotel staff as very Greek! a family run Taverna with a relaxed no rush feel. Clean Taverna with tables spaced out. it was always busy. The food was just the best! try there prawn Saganaki & Baklava.

The menu is hand written and food excellent which explains why the place is full with people queuing for tables. Service is speedy but gruff and I wouldn't want to get in a fight with the owners. That being said we would definitely go back and our bill for beer, two small carafes of wine, water, starters and mains was... More

If you go out in greece for dinner, you will typically see the tourists coming early (6PM), while greek families come later (10PM). We often went out around 9PM, between the "shifts", and could see the restaurant fully occupied twice. For a reason: quality was excellent - greek local food. Many wonderful starters, and an extremely friendly service. Positive for... More

I tried this restaurant based on TA reviews. It is rustic, homely and very reasonable. However we were not impressed with food. Grilled fish and meat balls were excellent. Lamb was chewy and mousaka was low on meat. Dishes were salty to our taste.
