Fabulous food

We only found this taverna on our last night situated up the hill from the beach. Wish we had found it earlier. The people were very pleasant and friendly and the food was fantastic. This is what we had been looking for all week typical Greek taverna with great food.

A lovely quiet, yet with plenty of atmosphere, family-run restaurant off the beaten track in Kamari. The family has had its restaurant there since the early 90s. Friendly service from the son, wife and daughter of the owner. We shared a Greek salad (I rarely seem to tire of those!) and then I chose a chicken vin santo (this sauce... More

It's easy to miss this little gem since it's located on its own (to the right from Tamarix Del Mar). The staff was very nice and friendly, the food good Greek basic cuisine. The tsatsiki was the strongest this week with lots of garlic in it. We had squid and mixed grill, and those courses were good. The house wine... More

This little Greek taverna is on the corner of the road up to Acient Thera. We have been visiting this lovely little place for many years and love it. Its traditional, run by the family. Very good homemade food and very good price (lower than a lots of others)

A few year ago we stayed in Kamari and visited this tavern several times. To our opinion this was the best in Santorini. This year we stayed in Fira and again visited several tavernas and restaurants. We went back to Sellada and again found it was still the best! Although the tavern was full, it didn't seem crowded and nobody... More

No one hassles you but it was packed. Great service and the food was lovely. Almost deserved a 5 but that's for something really special.

traditional Greek family restaurant. We ate here 3nights out of our 11 night stay in Kamari. Excellent well presented food and very friendly service. Will definitely go back when we next visit Kamari.

As previously stated by others, the refreshing thing about this restaurant was that there wasn't anyone's the door pressurising tourists to enter. The staff were very friendly and polite. I only had the spaghetti; it was lovely but he portion was quite small. What I found bizarre was that the boss and staff accepted smokers to smoke within the restaurant.... More

We were recommended this restaurant by an English couple on their fifth visit to Santorini. It did not disappoint! The stifado was gorgeous and the remaining three golden girls had kleftiko cooked in oiled parchment (take note: parchment not to be eaten!) ha ha. Very tasty, few free drinks and sample dishes, very Greek and not too expensive. Worth a... More

I have been to Kamari several times now, the coastal front is getting more of a pain with touts trying to drag people in (shame it's not meant to be Benidorm).. anyways this place is set back from the front, not touts!, we just walked in and loved a traditional Greek family Taverna. The young waitress as polite and lovely... More
