Food is really nice, service is very friendly but restaurant is kinda small and can be cold in winter due to open room to street... Aside from that, it's great!

We had dinner at cafe Kathmandu on three separate occasions and the food was great. All tastes catered for and heat levels!!!! Our children loved the food. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. We will be back again the next time we stay in Broadbeach.

We were looking forward to our meals here but were very disappointed. The menu was on the expensive side and was dominated by Indian dishes, rather than Nepalese. A chicken dish was of poor quality meat with skin, fat, etc. A prawn dish had very, very few prawns. We would not go back.

An easy 15-minute walk from Surfers Paradise to Broadbeach where my eye was caught by their sign - all mains $10 if dining before 6.30pm. Considering most of the dishes were $20 plus, I couldn't resist the bargain and got myself a plate of lamb biryani rice. I was amazed at how generous the portion size was; so much so... More

Following our return to Broadbeach after 12 months travel abroad, we were looking forward to returning to this eatery, which opened just before we departed for our trip. The food was good, but no longer great, since some dishes lacked freshness. Although few patrons in the restaurant, and absent the Manager, we waited about 40 minutes for the food to... More

Had dinner there a couple weeks ago with a friend. We walked in and got sat in the back even though there were only three tables there at the time. After what we thought was forever we finally got the menus. We ordered a bottle of white wine, when the waitress finally came back she open the wine and just... More

My Partner & I have always had a favourite Tibetian Restaurant but needed to travel 2 hours to Mooloolaba just to get there & order enough food to take home to last a couple of days! You can imagine our delight when we discovered CAFE KATHMANDU right here in BROADBEACH! The menu is similar, although not the silken soft tofu... More

The food was excellent and staff very helpful. We arrived on a Friday night in time for the pre-6.30 special, which is $10 for a selection of the main meals. I had the garlic prawn marsala and it was one of the best I've had. There was no skimping on prawns either!
