We ate at Kurrawa Surf Club today and had the "Beer Battered Barramundi". It was probably the worst fish and chip meal I'd ever had. Three wafer thin fillets of fish. It didn't look or taste like any Barramundi that I've ever had before. Barramundi is a large fish with succulent thick fillets. The fillets we had at Kurrawa Surf... More

There isn't anything bad you can say about the Surf Club ,The meals are excellent and if you join their Club (which I would recommend ) the outlay is worth it.The staff are marvellous.

We ate at the Surf Club twice on our recent trip. The dinner menu had a good selection. I had Oysters Kilpatrick for an entrée and found it over priced for $18.00 for 5 small oysters. I had Steak for mains and found it very nice at a good price. We also had the all you can eat buffet breakfast... More

Great food at reasonable prices, and the Peroni pints of beer on tap you couldn't go past. Surf club was very clean and the views amazing. Ask for a table on the balcony, and ensure you have breakfast there as well

Visited here twice during our stay and unfortunately was disappointed in the food both tomes. Extensive menu but lots of fried dishes. If you are lucky enough to get an outside table it has a beautiful view as it is right on the beach. Service and bar good just unfortunate it's not as good as in past years. It is... More

Have been many times before but our latest visit was not as previous. The staff are always friendly but that will not hold the rest up. It is very noisy, so not that pleasant to have a meal in, compared with some other SLSC clubs. Two meals were had, a very nice Steak, BUT the other, wild caught Barramundi was... More

We ate here because it was recommended by a local. It is nothing flash but is popular. The food was ok and staff were friendly enough. They have pokies if you're into that sort of thing. The bloke who recommended it told me it was great food and very cheap, I didn't find either to be particularly true but it... More

Go early or late for lunch to get a beachside table. You can wait until one becomes free, but expect 20 minutes +

Location and view was fantastic, but that was the end. My family had breakfast here as it was a lovely sunny morning and the surf club has a great outlook from the balcony. The food was just average and the coffee matched the food. We found the service to be lacking with not a lot of 'love' from team. We... More

We came here on mothers day for lunch with my family, with a table on the balcony overlooking the beach, I would ensure you book a table here as it gets very busy, friendly staff and great service, meals were very nice and there is a good variety to choose from.
