We went to lola's with friends for a weekend lunch. The was a special lunch menu --$20 for two courses and a glass of wine or a la Carte on a fairly broad menu. Its close to the beach but a kilometre or so out of Broadbeach central, it was a cool day so there were no tables on the... More

Whilst overlooking some previous negative reports, we decided to give Lola's a try with some relos from Melbourne [21st Aug]. Given it was an unusually cold rainy, miserable night on the Gold Coast, there were only about a dozen or so diners in the restaurant. Waiters were quite friendly and when asked about the seafood basket, I was told it... More

My partner and I had a lovely warm dinner here on a cold wet night. We shared a trio dip entree which was really good and mains were streak and a burger. Well fed, fair prices and happy with the service. Happy to return and try breakfast menu.

Stopped here for breakfast and was not disappointed. It was a quirky little cafe with ocean views (not straight across from the beach so not all tables have views) the food was AMAZING! Generous serving sizes, beautifully presented and very tasty. I had corn fritters with bacon, rocket & home made relish and a balsamic glaze. My husband got a... More

Ate here twice, brunch the first time and breakfast the next. The first time the service was extremely slow but the food was very good. Coffee was great this time around and the place seemed to be full of locals. The second time we had their 'budget' breakfast which was also good and excellent value, but their coffee let them... Had breakfast here today and even though it was very busy, we were served in a timely manner, food delicious and polite wait staff. Ended up returning for dinner as well with a friend, no booking, but were able to be accommodated without a problem. Menu varied and good choice of wines. Ordered the whiting salad, which was delicious, but... More

We both had a surf and turf - and we are both particular about our steak. I had rare and my partner medium rare. They were both perfect, one of the tastiest steaks we've had. The prawns on top were a good size and the sauce lovely! There were 2 waitresses on duty and they were excellent. Well done! We'll... More

Have read many of the previous reviews, and it appears that not much has been improved in staff friendliness. Maybe management doesn't read Tripadvisor.. Had lunch here, they had a 'special' on, and it was excellent value. Not big servings, but when you are having two that doesn't matter. Fish & Chips, Vegie Stack, Calimari all excellent. Their Muffins are... More
