Fabulous

My husband and I got married here in 2006. (Not May 2014 as stated, the drop down menu did not go as far back as 2006!)We couldn't have picked a better venue. My friend and I enjoyed a lovely three course lunch. The food was delicious, although my raddachio was particularly bitter! We took tea in the garden to take advantage of the sunshine. Apart from having to ask for milk for the tea - the service was prompt and unobtrusive. We will return. Try the cheesecake, it was perfection for my... More

Visited with my partner and my parents and we dined at the relatively new kitchen bench. Compared to other restaurants there was no additional cost for being seated right next to the action. It was such a wonderful experience with every one of the kitchen staff taking the time to talk to us about the food that they were preparing... More

Been wanting to go to Fischer's for such a long time and eventually got round to it last week.. Absolutely loved it from the décor to the service to the fab food. Cant wait to go back and will be trying the 10 course starter menu and staying over for the night next time.

The new kitchen dinning experience at Fischer's was exceptional. It was mesmerising to watch the chef's prepare and plate the intricate dishes. It was absolutely wonderful to see the passion and love for their job's reflected on the food and the well thoughtout menu. Being in the kitchen gave an insight to the importance of every staff member and everyone... More

Easter Sunday lunch ... A first time visit to Fischers' but not the last. From start to finish the attention to detail is superb. Arrive a little early for an aperitif in the lounge, the dining rooms are warmly decorated and quite intimate. The food beautifully cooked and presented with discrete and attentive service. Coffee was taken in the lounge... More

We've been coming here for twenty years. The restaurant has evolved over this time as you would expect, but it has never disappeared down a fashionable blind alley. The food manages to be comforting in its quality, yet at the same time fun and far enough from what you could do at home to make it a true big night... More

Lovely greeting area to prepare you for your dining experience. The staff were very friendly, the right level of attentive and very accommodating to our requirements. We opted to effectively create our own tasting menu a la carte. The sommelier's white wine pairing was excellent and happily adjusted to our tastes. Lovely intimate and friendly rooms. Happily recommended

If this were a review for food alone Fischers would get 5 stars every time. The ingredients, style of cooking and flavour combinations are out of the top drawer, and the kitchen fires on all cylinders. The setting is very old school, and for me that's not my bag, but executed well I can still appreciate it. Yet here the... More
