Ordered our lunch seafood chowder and a bowl of fries. Waited ages two other groups were served there meals before us,... More

I came here for a late lunch on my own today. There isn't really a great choice of dining out establishments for lunch in Rangiora and I had never eaten here before. On arrival the staff were friendly and suggested the steak sandwich (17.50) and a glass of Jules Taylor sav (9.50). The young waitress said that the sandwich was... More

There was a side of butter and a smear of hollandaise on plate. Totally over priced $13.00. The pot tea I ordered was not made with boiling... More

We ordered and paid at counter, not given a table number stand so when the lunches were ready the staff didn't know where we were. Were not offered water despite glasses on the table and other guests who arrived after us were. Establishment was clean and tidy, reasonably busy. Baby change table in the accessible toilet which was nice to... More

I was a little surprised at the price of eggs on toast and the poached eggs were still wet and made the toast soggy. A bit disappointed.

This is a local cafe with delicious food and friendly staff. The food is delicious, coffee is excellent, and service is a tad slow but well worth the wait.
