We went to the Mad Musher for supper, it was so good we went back for breakfast the next morning. The Venison Stew was plentiful and tasty. Breakfast was also a good size. The service was super friendly. We also enjoyed the art displayed inside, it was very affordable. We hope to return!

This place has horrible food and service. We came for lunch and had the stew and Brule cheesecake. The stew had no flavour, the mash was runny and it tasted like it was microwaved. The dessert wasn't even thawed properly. When we told the waitress that we were not happy, she said there is nothing she can do because the... More

I had a hamburger and small Greek salad and boyfriend had club sandwich and coconut curry chicken soup. I enjoyed my food and tried the soup and it was delicious! I really enjoyed sitting with a view of the river and the window open (screened, of course!). It was a nice treat on our last day after a week of... More

This place is awesome. Who knew that Algonquin park would be the home of one of the best restaurant meals I have had in a while? Everything on the menu was enticing. They had run out of the soup of the day, in its place I started with the French Onion soup. It was incredible! The time put into each... More

We stopped for lunch at the Mad Musher yesterday with our kids. We were seated quickly and since the World Cup was on, the waitress changed the large screen TV to show the game that was being played so we could watch it during lunch. The kids had chicken fingers and fries - and the waitress subbed out steamed vegetables... More

I can't say enough about this quaint little restaurant. We had the pleasure of being able to view the Madwaska River while enjoying one of the best restaurant meals I've ever had, which I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised about. The restaurant is not fancy but the food, quality, price and service far made up for it. The... More

The mad musher is a nice restaurant next to Algonquin Park. They have pretty decent food at reasonable prices. The waitress was friendly and attentive although the place was packed with people. Definitely a recommendation!

Stopped in for lunch by snowmobile on 27 March (sadly-the last ride of the season) and was greeted by the friendly waitress who was fast and efficient. The meal was excellent (hot Roast beef sandwhich and hot Hamburger sandwhich) at a price that makes you wonder why anyone goes to 'fast food' joints.

We were staying at a local resort for a few days and noticed this little place on the highway with lots of cars (and snowmobiles) in the parking lot. So we stopped by for lunch one day and were really pleased with the selection/quality of the food and the friendly service. It's not overly fancy inside but it's clean and... More
