We stopped there for lunch while doing the eastern side of route 60 through Algonquin. We found the food to be very good. Service was prompt and friendly. I had a bowl of the chili and a burger and my wife had the Ruben. I cook chili routinely and don't get along with green peppers real well. I was worried... More

I've travelled quite a bit and this place is the worst restaurant I've ever been in. It's cute inside but the food is terrible, over cooked and obviously reheated in a microwave when orders come in. After a long day hiking in Algonquin Park both my wife and I went there based on other reviews on Trip Advisor, let me... More

We were camping in Algonquin for a week from Sunday-Friday on our honeymoon and we stopped in on Tuesday, and it was so good we came back again on Wednesday and Friday. The thing that attracted me was the art and photos on the walls. It's such a lovely and inviting place. But the food is what made us come... More

We ate here two years ago, and I am happy to say that it's still a good place. May not look like much on the outside, but there is a serious kitchen inside that makes some good Canadian dishes. Tried the venison stew; it's light and not at all greasy or heavy. My husband liked the poutine; I tasted his... More

Looks pretty basic but the food is great. The service is very friendly although a little slow on the night we were there -apparently too many people had arrived at once. It seems pretty popular.

We spent the day in Algonquin park and stopped for dinner on our way back through Whitney. It looks like a "greasy spoon" but the food is fantastic and the service is exceptional and very friendly. I had the special lemon dill perch and it was really tasty. The fries were delicious as well and it was nice to try... More

I liked the weird atmosphere of this place. On the side of the highway almost at Algonquin park is this ramshackle place, which has had additions put on apparently whenever they needed it. There were a ton of bikers while we were there, and a Chinese tour bus, so it can get busy! The food was alright.

I have stopped in for a meal probably 5 times in the last year and every time the food and service are excellent. Normally I don't order wraps for a meal, but for some reason I really enjoy them at the Mad Musher. If you would like a scenic view of the water there is seating in a patio room... More

The staff at this place are the most awesome bunch of guys you are ever likely to meet and the foods good too, I had a vegi burger which although unusual was very tasty it also got the seal of approval from my son who is very fussy, my wife had a big bowl of something cant remember what but... We wanted to have a nice sit down dinner after trekking all over the park. We decided to stop here and we were not disappointed. I had the chili burger and hubby had the pickerel. Clearly the food was very good and satisfied our appetite. We had a nice view from the screened in porch with grape vines crawling up... More
