Excellent food and service with a view

We love this restaurant and have eaten here many times in the summer months. Not sure I was in the same restaurant as some of the reviewers as there were only two male waiters and the two male owners. View is fantastic and if you sit inside you still get the view and not the smokers smoke. The food was not the usual moules et frites and we were able to choose between menus.... More

We went to this restaurant as it had been recommended by people. The location is superb on the beach and you can watch the sun go down as you tuck into the gorgeous mussels, washed down by a lovely bottle of Muscadet. The ice creams on the dessert menu are huge and unresistable. If you are in St Palais do... More

Really good seafood here, service for dinner was good. We had drinks beforehand and the waiter was a bit grumpy, it was busy but when we asked for drinks he went into a bit of a rant! Regardless of that we had a great time!

We ate here with our two children. We booked in advance so we were able to secure a table by the seafront. It was ideal as we ate while our children ate and played on the beach- they were in their element! The seafood and fish was excellent. The children's menu was a bit limited but was ok. Overall a... Great views over the bay and that is what I think that you are paying for as the food is just ok! We sat at the front and were surrounded by cigarette ends all over the floor and on the wall where we were eating not nice at all. They also had live music which was ok but to loud.... More

We reserved and received a nice table overlooking the beach. The waiter was very friendly and helpful with menu translations. My starter of anchovies was lovely. My wife's carpaccio was chewy. Our mains took a long time to arrive (circa 45 mins). When they did arrive they were Luke warm except for the chips - both were average at best.... More

You pay a little extra to sit on the seafront overlooking the pretty beach, but it's worth it. Service is brisk and efficient, but you're not rushed. Not for the first time, three of us went for lunch. Two shared a huge "Normandie" seafood platter €38 (crab, langoustines, crevettes, mussels, oysters, etc) while our non-seafood eating friend had a rather... More

We are 6 friends in weekend in the north. We had lunch at the restaurant Nausicaa. A very big disappointment. Mediocre food, greasy and tasteless. Deplorable service. Apart from our server who seemed to be the only one to work, many waiters and waitresses stood away to chat, taking care not to cross the eyes of customers who would ask... More

Make sure you book if you want a table right by the beach because this is a very popular restaurant, rightly so. Very good service. Good choices for everyone. Wines are recommended on the menu per group of dishes. The seafood and fish are excellent. Highly recommended.
