We stayed nearby, and this shop was a godsend. Great deli foods, superb local produce, and a brilliantly decorated cafe serving top-class coffee. It was good when it was The Little Shop. It's even better now.

Last year I had a superb lunch with my husband here, so I had no hesitation about stopping again there last week for a tea and cake. I could not believe it when a cup of tea and a latte were served up in PAPER cups, and our cakes served on PAPER plates! When we asked why, we were told... More

In the past we've had good experiences here - lovely light lunches and teas. However, when we visited last Saturday afternoon, we were hoping for a delicious tea in pretty surroundings. Our hopes were dashed - there was only one flapjack left and only crisps or ice cream on offer from the deli. Tea is served in paper cups and... More

Last year we spent many happy tea and cake times here. But a tearoom without china! Paper cups and plates to save on washing up. No pots of tea. Very disappointing.

Well - I for one am delighted by the lack of background music at this delightfully informal shop and tea room. We were luck enough to start a circular walk from Winchelsea on a beautifully sunny morning by having tea, coffee and cakes in the garden of the Farm Kitchen. The dog - a new addition to our family -... More

We have visited village before, and popped into shop also a coffee shop, shelving and displays looked very modern and nice but all posh brands and quite bespoke items. Butcher shop also within, Walked into back room where the small tea room is, nicely decorated, too cold to be outside so sat at nice table and chairs. Looked good selection... More

Why were the farm kitchen open on Tuesday, 4 February 2014? We walked in and went to the usual room at the back where they serve their beverages etc. Found the room very untidy with boxes all around, no tables set etc. No one around. I decided to find someone to serve us and there was a gentleman in the... More

Fabulous Deli. Very well stocked. Lots of local produce (meat, veg, charcuterie, beer, fruit juice etc etc). AND a fab cafe. We had tea and my wife judged the scones A1 whilst my Guinness & Ginger Cake was as perfect as cake can be. And lovely warm staff and a lovely garden area. Thanks!
