In this delicious and hidden tiny mediaeval town on the way from Grosseto to Scansano there is a truly exceptional place - restaurant with rooms. To start with the food is sensational. We had an absolutely delightful evening. The owner, Paola, greeted us at the door. She spoke very little English and we (a group of 8) spoke little Italian. Of the 8 of us, my husband knew enough Italian to help out and what he couldn't translate, Paola did her best with pantomime or making the sounds for the different animals... More
