Most facilities were closed in La Roque and we had almost given up when we spotted this restaurant was open - it was 1pm on Thursday! It proved to be a good haven. The fixed price lunch is great value with well prepared, tasty food. Service was efficient, helpful and welcoming. Well worth a visit.

Les Pres Gaillardou on outskirts of La Roque Gageac in Dordogne region of France offered a truly memorable dining experience. The proprietors were delightful, the table settings perfect, the ambience romantic and intimate with an exceptional duck recipe. Superb gourmet dinner. At 19.50 euros each for 3 courses, a real gem. Highly recommend.
