AMAZING!

Donna Rosa is a typical sicilian restaurant - they "invade" the table with any food, mostly recommended for fish. I'm not a big fan of fish but I have to admitt they are pretty special, particularly the "involtini of pesce spada" (swordfish). We ate 5 or 6 antipasti/starters, 2 main dishes, 2... read more

Perfect place to get acquainted with Sicilian food. It's a family trattoria, so you will feel like you're at home of these people ;) Great choice of fish, tasty wine of their own, nice atmosphere. Prices are not the lowest, but worth it.

Obviously well known locally, but not easy to find but when we had to ask the way we were given clear directions and told we would eat well there. We were made very welcome and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant was not very busy the night we were there but atmosphere was created by a group... More

We stopped by for lunch on Thanksgiving day. No turkey, but the seafood and pasta was fantastic. The fried calamari was the best we have eaten anywhere. The entire staff enjoyed our thanksgiving pictures of a 40 pound turkey.

The seafood was spectacular. The pasta was pretty good. The tiramisu was divine (don't let the gimicky mokapot container fool you). Our Sicilian friend tells us this place isn't as good as it used to be, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Wife and I stopped in for lunch, based on a recommendation from a friend. She ordered the grilled Gamberoni prawns and I ordered the linguini with Gamberoni and pistachios. Wow. Her prawns were just absolutely outrageous; huge, sweet, fresh. In all my time of eating at some of the best restaurants in New York, Paris, London, San Franisco, etc, I've... More
