Dance, eat & drink till the sun goes down

David plays all the great oldies to dance to. Have a massage and a henna tattoo at your table while drinking strong margs. Food is average but setting is a party. If you're into a quiet little experience, pass FatBoys up, but for a raucous good time, this is it.

We had a lovely meal of prawns in garlic with bread. It was delicious. They had a man playing guitar singing. It was a lovely relaxing afternoon. Only bad point was all the beach sellers, they really do pester you whilst eating, and wont take jo for an answer.

We had a lovely walk on beach, were thirsty and wanted to enjoy the view and get a beer. We found a seat with a great view. Unfortunately, our waiter seemed a bit put off because we only wanted 3 beers. Ok, he said we could get a bucket of 5 beers for 110 pesos- so we got a bucket.... More

Terrible music and food to match! If you are coming from the Decameron ... Keep walking this may be the first place you come to ... But keep going, there are lots of other places along the beach.

Awesome margaritas, and I've never eaten such good shrimp in my life! I got the avocado shrimp dish which was phenomenal, and the jumbo shrimp my stepdad ordered were like double the size of the biggest shrimp I could possibly find at the grocery store here. Everything was totally fresh and flavourful, plus the beach is beautiful. Must try!

Have been here several times in the past few years. It's OK once or twice then move on. In the day after some shopping it's fun to pop into but I wouldn't make it a regular hang out.

If you are looking for somewhere to eat while down here, you must give this place a try. It is right on the beach and the food is excellent. I had the combo platter with Lobster, Scallops, and Shrimp. My wife had the steak, but was not thrilled with it. But, how can you compare a steak in Mexico to... More

Stop in today (Feb. 14th, 2015) for lunch. Fat Boy was recommended to us by others and we had read great reviews about this beach side restaurant. Our lunch was less than enjoyable. This restaurant is a great place if you want to be constantly harassed by beach vendors. I mean every 30 seconds someone walks right up to our... More

The Fat Boy had amazing food with large amounts. The Mexican Shrimp Cocktail came in a large wine glass and was more than enough for my husband and I. And we order the Quesadilla's and got four large portions and my husband also got the ceviche and all that was more than enough food for us. Just have to put... More

Casual dining on the beach, live music, great food. Our friends loved the guac I loved the pico. Great tacos my husband & I split - 4 to one order. Make sure you have time to relax and enjoy. Don't pay attention to the vendors unless you want to have them come to you constantly. Tell them no and walk... More
