Le Provence has been a favourite since its beginning. The new location allows us to enjoy fine dining without the distractions of a noisy street. At Le Provence we have a fine chef who has taken the trouble to source the finest ingredients. I enjoyed a pepper steak that was as good as I have ever had..... any time, any... More

Five people in Bucerias and deciding to fine dine at a lovely French restaurant in a Mexican town. Wonderful pate, french onion soup, escargot, mussels and filet mignon among the entrees. A singer doing 40's standards and very nice service, and oh, a very respectable tart tatin and a decent Cotes du Rhone. All of the above made for a... More

This is a wonderful , intimate dining experience, in the garden area of a private home., run by a very nice couple. The husband, Eric is the Chef and his wife, Christiane the hostess, server. The menu is not extensive but a more than adequate selection. I ordered the Bouiabaise which was very good but I also ordered the Pate... More

It would sound too gushy to go on about this being the best meal we've had in Mexico in the past three years...maybe all the stars aligned to make this Valentine's evening so wonderful. But the food really was terrific- french onion soup, escargots, duck a l'orange (fall off the bone tender!), chicken cordon bleu, and the amazing copa ice... More

Away from the beach makes for a quiet and intimate evening of delicious cuisine and personal service. Great experience for my wife's and my birthday. Priced very reasonably. Take your cash however. They do not accept credit cars. Worth every Peso!

This winter we spent two months in Bucerias, Mexico (about 30 miles North West of Puerto Vallarta). We dined at Le Provence 3 times, that's how delicious it was! Chef Eric is from Marseille, France and has mastered the cuisine typical of this area, and has well put his own touches on the dishes. One of the delectable dishes (an... More

Quite unexpected to find "must have" pate in a small, beach town in Mexico!!! My husband and I wandered in to Le Provence one evening when we were bored with out typical restaurant choices. We ordered the Cordon Bleu and the duck and both were wonderful. Service is friendly and attentive by this husband wife team.

LeProvence offers an chance for a change in venue from strictly Mexican food.Their menu is European as are the owners. They take great pride in the service and the product they serve.Being from Alberta I enjoy a good steak and I was not disappointed in Eric's steak,it was VERY good as was the onion soup.I will visit them the next time... Tonight we enjoyed a delicious meal in Bucerias,Mexico. Le Provence offers traditional French fare. The homemade duck and country pâté duo was a winner. I highly recommend that as a starter. We ordered both a seafood au gratin and bouillabaisse entree which featured fresh local seafood. The chef came to our table to check all was well. Our hostess greeted... More
