We ate dinner at Le Provence last night. The regular menu is superb, but we were fortunate enough to catch another group's request for Beef Wellington. Delicious! We started out with a bottle of French cabernet ($270 pesos, great value) and 2 orders of escargot. We each had the Wellington, then of course, another bottle of wine, followed by profiteroles... A few blocks off Lazar Cardenas, this fairly new restaurant has great food. We heard about Le Provence from another couple we ran In to. It was worth the walk. French cuisine is a nice change!

This restaurant was SO delightful. We sat on the porch which was beautifully decorated with Mexican charm and a splash of France. The owners, Eric and Kristiann (sp) were fabulous. Eric is the chef. We ordered pate', seafood dinners and very good wine. Hooray for good wine in Mexico! The atmosphere is so inviting. We HIGHLY recommend Le Provence!

La Provence, have the most authentic French coucine in all Bahia de Banderas. After living in France for 15 years their food "transport" you to that beautiful country. I highly recommended, all the plates are soo good.

Le Provence has been a favourite since its beginning. The new location allows us to enjoy fine dining without the distractions of a noisy street. At Le Provence we have a fine chef who has taken the trouble to source the finest ingredients. I enjoyed a pepper steak that was as good as I have ever had..... any time, any... More

Five people in Bucerias and deciding to fine dine at a lovely French restaurant in a Mexican town. Wonderful pate, french onion soup, escargot, mussels and filet mignon among the entrees. A singer doing 40's standards and very nice service, and oh, a very respectable tart tatin and a decent Cotes du Rhone. All of the above made for a... More

This is a wonderful , intimate dining experience, in the garden area of a private home., run by a very nice couple. The husband, Eric is the Chef and his wife, Christiane the hostess, server. The menu is not extensive but a more than adequate selection. I ordered the Bouiabaise which was very good but I also ordered the Pate... More

It would sound too gushy to go on about this being the best meal we've had in Mexico in the past three years...maybe all the stars aligned to make this Valentine's evening so wonderful. But the food really was terrific- french onion soup, escargots, duck a l'orange (fall off the bone tender!), chicken cordon bleu, and the amazing copa ice... More

Away from the beach makes for a quiet and intimate evening of delicious cuisine and personal service. Great experience for my wife's and my birthday. Priced very reasonably. Take your cash however. They do not accept credit cars. Worth every Peso!
