Brilliant veal carpaccio

Very Italian, prompt service and good food. First time we had veal Carpaccio and it was very tasty. Friendly service and good location in the old town. Convenient for the main car park.

The pizza was FAB, But the baked knuckle was drab. It clearly said on the menu knuckle not knuckleS. But on delivernce of my Stinco the plate had TWO knuckles on it, I thought this was VERY misleading and really put a downer on my din-dins thank you very much. Marinara pizza tho: 10/10 would scoff

We had a great meal at La Grotta last year and returned again this year, this time we returned twice in the space of three days! The top dish continues to be the Stinco Al Forno (Ham Shank) which is a treat for meat lovers. However, La Grotta also makes the best pizzas in town with its original pizza oven... More

A great range of traditional Italian food, atmosphere and a good house wine all at very reasonable cost.

Had dinner here with family. Pizzas great, also possible to take-away. Very friendly staff with italian manners of discussing the servings again and again upon questionning about it. Enjoyed evening here, seemed to be laot of locals around. You need a reservation for the evenings!

Me and my boyfriend went to the restaurant and got pasta and a portion of grilled meat. The pasta was lovely, but the grilled meat was the wort I have ever had. There was a wurstel and some uncooked pork and some sort of undefined small pieces of meat that tasted like kebab. The pasta I got was nice: gnocchi... More
