Best chowder and mussels, soaked up with home made bread. Recently back from Europe and none of the seafood compared to these two dishes. Been many times and the food has been excellent.

Beautiful food in a lovely setting. Our family of five all had delicious meals here. The food was one of the best meals we had on our 9 night stay on the north island. We highly recommend it.

As we entered this restaurant we were amazed by the scenery around and nice garden outside. We walked inside and it was a bit cold and the only source oh heating was a gas heater you would have in your lounge.. for somewhere so flash you would think there would be a better source of heating. After we ordered our... More

We are here recently on a grab one voucher. We were extremely disappointed in the lack of interest with the staff when we asked for a heater to be turned on. This restaurant is extremely cold . The staff member tried to get the heater going which lasted for two minutes before it stopped. When told that it had stopped... More

They also provided the meat dishes for my party for 23 people at my house a few days later, delivered hot and provided the means to keep them warm, were plentiful, delicious and well priced. A fabulous extra service. Thoroughly... More

Small restaurant hidden off road just north of Turangi. We were there in winter but you can see that it can open right out in summer with outside games avail for entertainment. Last night was cosy and warm. Food is full of flavour, between us we had pork belly, venison and lamb rump and fish and chips for the kids.... More
