A wonderful welcome to Salt Cay!

An instant feeling of belonging; where to go, what to do, who to talk to.....a wealth of information in order to acclimate one's self in a very small and precious place. On Salt Cay the pace is slow. Good for unwinding. This bar and grill is the place you will choose to do that. This is the spot where you sit on the beach drinking a beer after a lovely day of snorkeling or diving. The staff works hard to please you and welcomes you every time with such warmth and... More

This is the picture perfect, friendliest bar and restaurant right on the beach overlooking the amazing turquoise water. Food is cooked to your order and is delicious. Ask Debbie or any of the staff for suggestions. Our picky 14 year old who doesn't like veggies said "I did not even care there was green stuff (spinach) in that quesadilla, because... More

Debbie was awesome as she picked us up from the airport and showed us around the island before taking us to our house. We spent most days sitting at Coral Reef because it is also a dive shop and between dives my sister and I would come up for a snack and my parents would hangout and use the wifi.... More

We landed on Salt Cay just after Hurricane Joaquin blew through. Thank goodness for Debbie and her staff, they rustled up 3 cheese burgers and some cold beers!!! We loved her place and the food was perfect for 3 out of place tourists! Go to Salt Cay, but not in October!

We were just on Salt Cay for a couple of days and really enjoyed our time at Coral Reef. We stopped most afternoons to have beers on the beautiful ocean front bar and also came for dinner one night where we were treated to island fish and the best mashed potatoes ever!! Really great spot and the owner and the... More

The food is so fresh. Some of the seafood is caught that day and served that evening. Homemade ice cream was the highlight for me. And the portions weren't skimpy either. If you leave hungry it's your own fault :)

Thanks so very much for your kind review. Glad you loved the ice cream. Have a new Cherry vanilla you will have to try when you come back to see the whales in the winter. Loved having you and see you early next year. Debbie More

What an amazing experience we had! It isn't always easy finding vegetarian and vegan options when we travel. The menu was filled with what I imagine were fantastic seafood dishes so there are plenty of options for folks who want a variety choices. When we told Debbie what we were looking for, she talked with the cook and he made... More

Debbie and the entire staff at Coral Reef Bar and Grill work hard to make sure you have a great meal and a great time! The menu has a wide range of options and everything is good. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the route food has to take to get to Salt Cay. Debbie's dessert are a must! The... More
