Had a great conch fest tonight, with conch fritters, conch ceviche, conch chowder and cracked conch. All absolutely delicious. Watched a couple whales swim by on their way north earlier in the day while having a drink at the bar. Best place for sunset drinks on the island. Super meals and always friendly staff. We love this Bar. Looking forward... More

So happy you enjoyed the conch. The cooks bruise the heck out of the conch and insure it is not chewy. The whales have been amazing this year. They must smell the food at the cafe and that's why they keep being spotted there:) Keep coming back. Love having you. More

Each time we visited the Debbie's (who was our landlord) for even just drinks, the servers did not appear to want to serve us. They were generally unfriendly and treated us like a nuisance. Moreover, the one time we did eat there, the food was just ok. The "grilled cheese" was toasted, smooshed, Wonder bread with some American cheese half-way... More

I am so sorry how misinformed you have been. You could not have gotten most of this information first hand but rather listening to the rumor mill as any small island has.. I appreciate your comments, but feel a need to correct what you have been told. My dog has an obedience collar on for barking. He has never bitten anyone... More

Debbie Manos owns the SCD as well as the Coral Reef Bar and Grill. She is so much more than a local business owner. She managed the house we rented, picked us up from the airport, arranged our golf cart and bike rentals and basically served as an uber concierge in the best possible way! We ate three times at... Where else can you order lunch, snorkel, whale watch or dive and have lunch ready when you return. The restaurant is steps from the ocean... your feet are in the sand once you step off the deck. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the BBQ night- ribs by the ocean- while whales swim by- a great vacation... More

Perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great food and reasonably priced. Perfect place to watch the sunset, too. You can relax after snorkeling with the whales or after a dive and talk about your experience with other travels and the locals, who are super friendly. Libations and conversations abound! You can whale watch right from the deck. A true... More

Debbie, thanks so very much for coming to visit. Thanks for your kind remarks. The whales continue to be amazing and must smell the food as the are jumping right in front of the cafe! Sure hope you come back next year. Loved having you both. More

Karen, you and your family were such a pleasure to meet. Staff loved you and we still use the wonderful candles you gifted us. I can't wait to have you all back. We will have some special new deserts and veggie mels for you to try. Hugs to all and thanks for your kind review. Debbie More

We just spent 13 days on Salt Cay Dec-Jan. We did a lot of diving with Salt Cay Divers and the CRB&G is their base. After a two tank morning-lunch dive you really need some food so we usually ordered lunch in between dives. Not only being very convenient the food and service you get is also very good. Debbie... Breakfast, lunch or dinner, everything is made from scratch to your precise wishes. Better conch dishes you won't find any where in the Caribbean along with fresh fish caught by local resident Lionel. The atmosphere is laid-back like it should be in Paradise. Debbie and her staff are the best.

This is a local gathering place right on the waterfront. While it is a casual atmosphere, they go out of their way to make sure the diners have a good experience. Everyone mingles and compares notes on their day which makes it quite lively. Rib night is one worth trying!
