Called here this morning with my mam and cousin. We aren't regular customers although we have been before. When staff discovered my Mam was celebrating her 70th birthday today, we were served coffees and the most gorgeous lemon muffins free of charge. What an absolutely generous offer. Awesome! Thank you so much (we will be back).

Come here occationaly but it is expensive so don't go as often as i'd like to.Beautiful little place that lives up to it's name. Usually have coffee and a cake which is very nice but opted for fish and chips on this occation. It was very nice but expensive. You do get salad, mushy peas and bread and butter with... More

Come here often due to location but always disappointed with all drinks and food. There is sometimes nice quiche or pies but mostly hot and cold food and drinks is always poor been going in for several years now I wish they would change the menu

We enjoyed a latte here today whilst walking the pooch, it was very busy and chaotic but we were sitting outside anyway! It is pricey but doesn't really disappoint! The guy behind the counter could do with a refresher in customer service though, he had a very "can't be bothered" attitude whilst banging the flakes onto the muffins!

Firstly, this place occupies one of the best sites in the North East, long sweeping views of Tynemouth Longsands and cold wet surfers are yours to enjoy along with a warming drink and food. We went for a pre Christmas lunch after ice skating at the nearby station, 2 Turkey sandwiches, a jacket potato, tea, coffee & kids drink...... Total... More

been coming here once a week for a breakfast with a mate from work, parking is limited and has to be paid for but the cafe/ restaurant copes with this by having magnificent views of the beach and the derelict old open air bathing pool. Breakfasts are pleasant with some interesting combinations such as bacon and black pudding baps, tea... More

Crusoes survives because of its amazing situation I mean who wouldn't want to sit and look over gorgeous Longsands? I only hope when they build the other one on the Cullercoats end of Longsands they purchase a decent coffee machine....consistently bad coffee over the years. Took the kids for lunch today, restaurant was packed yet at least 4 members of... More

Crusos is a great peaceful cafe on the beach serving food and drink and providing wedding and party space all through the year! Dogs are allowed inside and its great after having a walk or play on the beach then looking forward to either sitting down for a nice coffee or you can take away!

Lovely place, never been here before yesterday. My husband had large fish and chips which were fab and me and the kids had the small which were all gorgeous other than my eldest daughter found a couple of bones, but it was a fish! Lovely all round can't wait to re visit. I think it's very hard to find decent... More

Crusoes is on Longsands which is as attractive a beach as anywhere in the world and we call in regularly for a very enjoyable warming coffee/cappuccino.Today we thought we would try the large fish and chips, huge indeed with mushy peas, salad and bread but poor quality for what should be a speciality by the sea.So keep visiting but careful...
