It was a Friday afternoon, what better then fish and chips and a walk on the beach. Crusoe's had a friendly cashier, even though the place was packed, didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive. The terrace is a bit cramped like a previous reviewer mentioned. Large portions, well presented, fair to say it was a good... More

Well where do I start. I had my wedding here last weekend and from start to finish it was fantastic. The 2 managers Sharon and Tracey made the whole experience stress free and were so willing to help with every request I had I could not ask for better planning, organisation and fantastic friendly service. We had the whole of... More

We stopped off here after having a lovely time on the beach for a drink and a snack with my family and daughter. The place looks nice but a bit cramped with the large tables and chairs in it. My sister in laws partner went in ahead of us and ordered his food as he was on his way to... More

Great food with a good choice and they do children's meals . Situated on the beach it's ideal when you have kids as you don't have to drag your kit for miles . Quality food in a quality location

Dogs allowed on the outside seating area which has several tables overlooking the beach although not allowed inside the cafe (so no good as a dog walker's stop on a rainy day ) Would recommend the muffins which are always delicious - one is almost a meal in itself -several flavours available - chocolate , lemon , raspberry& white chocolate... We come here nearly every time we visit our son who lives in the area. We usually come in the afternoon and it is always very popular with families. Only had hot drinks and muffins, which are very good. Lovely place to while away an hour or so just looking out to sea on a sunny day. Great to come... More

I've visited Crusoe's both during the day and night and it's location is great. Very popular and busy when the suns out and due to that the price is slightly high for food but I think it's worth it just if the sun is shining. I recommend it for a private event as it's a good size indoor and outdoor... More

We go there almost every Sunday for a bacon sandwich and a coffee, sometimes a cake too. I have not found anywhere else that can beat this place for breakfast. Get there early if it's sunny...queue can be huge

Great location, especially on a sunny Sunday morning like today. Short Queue at the counter, served by a very pleasant girl behind the counter. Unfortunately, the lady who served our food was less pleasant. Older lady, short with dark hair. She seemed very stresed, the restaurant was not overly busy, and pleanty staff working. She was very rude when she... More

This café is in a brilliant location, on a clean beach, with excellent views of the sea. The cakes and confectionary are superb and worth making a trip for. The only down point would be that because it is so good, it tends to get very busy at the weekends and it appear that staff can not cope i.e. they... More
