Our family of six adults and 4 small kids had an early Sunday morning breakfast. The location is brilliant, almost on the beach. Quirky decor and ambiance, and easy parking. A downside - my bacon sandwich left a lot to be desired - very leathery bacon!

Found this super spot on a cold, windy and showery day located on the beach at Tynemouth. My sister had told me that the hot chocolate was rather special. She was not wrong! When it came to ordering it I was asked if we wanted cream so I said yes please. What I had not expected was a milk chocolate... More

Lovely scenic view of Tynemouth beech, Friendly staff, nice food, and prices are fair as the food is nice and not like cheaper cafes. Overall, a nicely laid out and decorated café with great views of the beech and north sea!

If the walk down to the beach made you shiver with cold, pop in to Crusoe's and warm back up with a ginger latte. Treat yourself to a mountain sized muffin or teacakes the size of dinner plates. And when they say big fish & chips, they mean it!

After an early morning appointment for a CAT scan, we thought we would try Crusoe's for breakfast! We got a sunny table outside and arrived just before the crowd gathered for their Saturday morning Coffees. Wonderful full English breakfast - made more enjoyable by all the beach activities to watch - we lingered as long as we dared. It will... More

My husband and I had our evening wedding celebration last year (september) and it was amazing, the best location I could have ever picked! The staff are very helpful in organising what you would like, particularly Sharon and Tracey were amazing, thank you! The room is transformed from the cafe in the daytime to a lovely party venue, with balloons,... More

We held a family birthday at Crusoes and had probably the best party we've ever had! The food is superb, the staff are very helpful and communication with the venue with the arrangements was easy. The location, right on Longsands beach, is quite simply stunning. Well done Crusoes. We love you. Oh, and it's also great for a cuppa and... More

When Crusoe's first opened their fish and chips were superb, the fish was so good, but sadly on my last visit i have to say the quality of fish was not of the same standard. Very overcrowded and i lost count of the times i was nudged by people squeezing past me. Great location, but needs work !

Great spot on the beach at Tynemouth. Stopped in for a snack while out for a walk. A bacon roll sounded good. Be prepared for a large tasty roll, or bap as it is called here, with a generous helping of bacon. Portions are large as is evident by the size of scones and cakes, all of which looked good.... More

Perfect location for taking my 90 year old grandmother in a wheel chair who wanted to have fish and chips at the beach! Quick service, huge portions and really good value for money! Con: Hard to park, even with a disabled badge.
