A range of menus caters for everyone from the casual diner looking for a quick lunchtime sandwich, to a business meeting over an a la carte dinner. Great restaurant

Good food, good service, would definitely come again. The evening menu could be expanded somewhat but a great place, with lovely cocktails and reasonable prices.

My wife and I dicided to walk from Harlow to sawbridgworth and then find somewhere to eat and get a bit of fresh air and were so glad we ended up in the goose fat and garlic. They have a choice of lunch time menus, from which I had the fish and my wife the ribeye steak, both of which... More

We had a party of 19 having a meal to celebrate my daughters birthday in January. Apart from our party the restaurant was very busy. This did not make for delays with our food, which all came to the table piping hot and everything was supurb. The whole place had a wonderful buzz, staff very helpful and pleasant. You could... Can't really decide about this place, went for Sunday lunch yesterday and 50% of the meal was lovely and 50% was awful, 3 quid for what looked and tasted like 2 slices of shop bought bread really takes the p*ss but the roast beef was divine.......

We had a late lunch at the Goose Fat and Garlic in Sawbridgeworth on a Saturday and ordered from the lunchtime set menu. The set menu was £16 per person for a starter and main meal with an optional £6 to add on a dessert but all three of us fancied a main meal followed by a pudding and the... More

This was not our first visit and like the three other visits, Goose Fat And Garlic delivered the goods. Very friendly and attentive service ( a busy Saturday night) was complimented with well prepared and well presented food. Each dish was first class. A great local restaurant with good food and good service as its differentiator.
