The scenery is perfect, an old barn. But since two years, the quality of food and service dropped, but the prices did not. Warned by previous experiences we asked the food not to be served too fast, but within five minutes after ordering the dishes were served. The deer and beef were not bad, but served without any fantasy right... More

This is my favorite place in Ober-engadin. The charm of that old stable is everything you look for in the mountains of Switzerland. They have several Rooms, some are more private (if you are a bigger group) but all are nice. I like sitting upstairs in the main room. On top comes a great service with the owners always being... Traditional Swiss Cuisine in Zouz in an old converted Farmhouse situated by a river with such quaint style. The food is delicious and we were greeted by Swiss Longhorn Players and I felt as if I should be yodelling! The fondue was a nice touch and the atmosphere was warm and inviting! I would recommend the trip outside St. Mortiz... More

Well if you are happening to visit the Engadine and you pass Zuos, so you need to stop for dîner at this great and nice looking restaurant. The service is great by simple, so the food. But the look of this old "grange à foin" is stunning.

Very authentic and local food in a typical Engadin wooden house (must have been a hutch back then). There are different rooms in the restaurant, we stayed in the largest one, which could be very noisy in the peak season. Nice staff and a rich menu.

Now i know how 'Capuns' and 'Pizokels' taste. Combined with deer ragout and red cabbage, which had a lightly taste of wild berry jam. Accompanying excellent white and red wine from this canton (Graubünden).

We went for a Sunday night dinner during our winter break. Having been there previously we knew about the nice location and the good food. But we were really disappointed by the lack of attention of the service staff. As it was Sunday the Restaurant was not overly busy - so no excuses. We were attended by 5 different waitresses... You want to eat local. This is the right restaurant. Nice typical ambiance to eat Grisons Specialities. Try the "Maluns" which are the crispy fried grated potatoes with cheese, and the "Capuns" which are cabbage rolls topped with cheese . Of course don't forget to reserve in advance.

The Dorta is an old house, with all kinds of antique objects scattered around the building. Make sure you take a look upstairs!! The cuisine was authentic Engadine. Everything looks fresh and inviting. Try their ham, the Bündner Gerstensuppe, and any and all meat dishes.

Love the entrèe, the self service bread and butter, the hay soup and an amazing steack tartare. The service is warm and perfect, the ambience is simply fabulous. An old barn, lovley.
