Menorcan quality experience

This is a regular eating place for us to eat on each of our twice yearly visits to Menorca. It is one of the five best restaurants on the island. Sophisticated and casual, authentic, un hanging style.

Spotted this roadside restaurant and decided to book for that evening. Were pleasantly surprised with the ambience and tranquil atmosphere. The food was beautifully presented and tasted divine! The service was also faultless. We highly recommend this restaurant.........definitely a hidden gem!

I think it's better for a couple in love than a family but we all enjoyed a lot the food and the site. Really perfect sweets. A little difficult for child

The food here is really special and not ridiculously expensive. The setting in the garden is beautiful, but also the inside is a charming village house. People dress up to come here for the evening. The mainly young staff are attentive. You can choose tapas portions - for example dates and prawns on a skewer - or starter portions to... More

We were last at La Caraba two years ago and have been a number of times before that. We like the place. The man who used to run it has retired and his niece and her partner seem pretty able successors. We began with four choices from the para picar selection. Error. It was really too much. Three would have... More

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant while staying in near by Es Gura. The setting is wonderful eating underneath the canopy. My boyfriend had fish with squid ink rice and I had cannelloni accompanied by lovely crisp White wine. The service was impeccable, hope to visit again this summer.

My husband and I try to aim for two evenings here if we can, during our week on the Island. Over the years (and this their 30th anniversary!) they always deliver delicious meals, slightly unusual style and combinations and are beautifully presented. Combine this with a quirky venue (two rooms of art exhibitions which change each year), welcoming staff and... More

This place has a great outdoor dining area. The food is excellent, too - such a very high standard that we'd definitely go back there. Superb pork main. Tasty aperitifs. Fantastic salad & dressing for my vegetarian partner & delicious hand-made dessert. The staff are attentive, though they're not all top-notch: my only gripe was over one brusque team member... More

We had a very average meal at this little restaurant. I know I'll be beaten up by those who say it's the best restaurant in the area, but really...it isn't. It's extremely expensive, the service is patchy and the food no more than adequate. Try La Venta nearby for a much more pleasant and affordable meal.

We have been to this delightful restaurant several times but not for a couple of years. We went with friends and, I have to say, had a very disappointing evening. Our table was in a corner on the terrace and quite dark - we requested a candle - the request did not go down terribly well with our quite unfriendly... More
