This is my favourite restaurant on the Costa. I have been going there for 18 years, for evening meals, birthday parties, new years eve, etc, etc. Beautiful setting, in courtyard. Cannot fault the food, I like "al dente" and that's what I get, not raw. Reccomend the knuckle of lamb or the lenguado. You won't be dissapointed. Well done to... More

Our table was booked for 7pm, the door waasn't open until 7-15, we ordered our meal it took 1hr 15mins to arrive the vegetables were raw not el dente!! I agree the setting is beautiful but the food and service left a lot to be desired, we will not be rushing back.

Lovely setting and friendly service but food was actually quite 'hit and miss'. Seafood soup was very bland and veg was very, very undercooked. They also got my order wrong. I would skip El Figon. There are bettering fine dining experiences in Torrox and certainly much better value Tapas options.

Have been coming to El Figon on and off for over 13 years. Beautiful setting, good service, excellent food but unfortunately the menu has changed very little over the time. 'Specials' would be a good idea.

We took some friends to this restaurant for their silver wedding, unfortunately, as they had never been before, we were inside due to the inclement weather. But, even inside is great. The food as ever was superb. We went there again last week with family for my birthday, this time we were outside, added bonus. Again the food was excellent,... More

Good service, good food and drink reasonably priced. Tranquil courtyard and / or covered setting, advise reservation especially during tourist season. Note address as can be easily missed when passing.

We had a lovely family meal here. The setting is lovely, and the food excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Torrox.

We visited tonight as party of six with two children under ten. Not the easiest place to locate but once we found it we were impressed with the setting as you go down stairs to the courtyard setting amongst plants and jasmine trees so the smell is gorgeous. The food was brilliant and the portions very generous. We paid in... More

We had tried to visit this restaurant some time ago but it was during the winter when it was closed and we actually though it had closed permanently. Thank goodness it hasn't and finally we got there. The entrance is easy to miss but as you go through it and down the steps you find yourself in an oasis of... More

El Figon is a beautiful restaurant, a calm oasis. We had another beautiful meal on 16th August, this was our fourth visit to the restaurant during our holiday in Torrox. The Madallions of Sirloin are to be recommended, a huge portion and truly delicious. The Sole is also very good. The staff are gracious and attentive. You will definitely enjoy... More
