Great food in San Vito lo Capo

San Vito lo Capo while has some of the most wonderful beaches, weather, natural reserves etc. Restaurants would not be one of their prized attractions. Prices there are generally higher than the rest of Sicily but quality lower. Its a vacation town. Syrah is one of the few places where you... read more

We were disappointed. The couscous highly recommended in lonley Planet was just dry and tasted like Fish: Not oriental at all. Tatar as a starter was Not seasoned at all... Waste of Money. Go have a Pizza instead.

We arrived at 6 pm. There was some space in the restaurant, not a lot. Waiters are nice, but do not speak english :) we love white wine. and received the "il vino della casa" perfect. I eat clam soup is excellent. Fresh fish, crabs :) everything is perfect, and price is good. That was a little strange soccer match... More

We were lucky enough to eat here twice during the busiest week in August. Recommend going early as there is always a line. Food is excellent and the staff was very accommodating. They even went off the menu to meet some of our requests. Just a great overall experience.

Attracted by the group of people waiting in a queue outside the Restaurant, I visited Syrah with my boyfriend. Actually the queue was not that long, as a table for 2 is easier to find - therefore I would recommend this place for small groups (less than four). I started the dinner with a delicious Caponata di Melanzane with crushed... More

In line with the average and even above average restaurants in San Vito, food is good, and at Syrah very good but managers have no idea what customer service is.

We stayed in San Vito Lo Capo 5 nights and we went 3 times in this restaurant. Staffs were helpful and gave us good recommendations. We had Sautéed clams within citrus as a starter. Then we had "Taglioline vongole bottarga e ricci di mare" (Pasta dish with clams, fish eggs and sea urchin). Our main course was fresh Tuna coated... More

Place - Small and cosy, romantic but with a relaxed family atmosphere. - The music was a bit boring (it was Christmas and all songs where about it, but not too cheesy at least). Food - The food it was very good, but I think I couldn't enjoy it as I might have if I asked something different. We asked... More
