I was quite disappointed about this restaurant. As its name indicate I was expecting to eat a really nice couscous. At the end for me it’s quite far the taste of the couscous I ate in Morrocco… we took 4 couscous to try different fish...taste. To be honest the bouillon was good but the plate was unbalanced…. too much grain, fish was too much cooked… so overall I did not really like it… We took also a antispasto misto to share. It was okay but really nothing particular. Also I have to say that they have a lot of table in this restaurant. So for me so many table means most of the time not quality food. Service on his side was not the most sympathic to be honest…. I really do not understand the hype of this restaurant, as I am sure you can eat better fish couscous elsewhere in San Vito.More

As the restaurant is mentioned in Michelin we decided to try cous cous there hoping to really enjoy it. We ordered cous cous “lo capo” and “erizioni”. First one at least not bad, served with grilled calmar which is good. The cous cous itself is...2/5 I would say. Eruzioni is definitely not as good as it should be. Overall we ate only half of the dishes and didn’t want to finish I only give 2 points for atmosphere and good wine. Cous cous is better to try somewhere else.More

The cous cous and the wine is great…do not choose beef… even if you select from the meat selection…they do not know how to cook it…..way to much heat and no rest makes a perfect steak dry …and then served on a lava stone…makes no...sense….it is a nice restaurant but seems overrated…More

Ha ha ha triumph of form over content. They may have stars for the service, but certainly not for the food. Expensive and not very tasty. There are places in San Vito with less stuff, better (definitely) food and better prices. The food is strong...(sic!) average, but there are 3 waiters near the table, but none of them speak fluent English. You can definitely miss this place.More

we reserved a table for ten. We were given two round tables of five The atmosphere is great and almost elegant. We ate in the patio. Food is good. Better than other restaurant in San Vito. The service lacks organization despite the numerous staff in...the dining room. They could do better considering the price of the meal.More

If you ever wondered where to find cous cous at its finest then look no further. Many options available - we tried 4 of them and they were all excellent. If you have a little room left then treat yourself with a delightful ‘caldo freddo’...dessert (to die for…) Special thanks to Sergio for his amazing hospitality!More

I just don’t. Reading all the amazing reviews we decided to reserve a table and enjoy the cous cous San Vito Lo Capo is famous for. We turn up on time and we have to wait a few minutes as the table hasn’t been set....Ok no problem. Once the table is set we make our way to the garden. The garden is beautiful: right distance between tables, nice jazzy covers music, beautiful lemon trees, etc. you get the idea. Ambience was impeccable. We choose the food, we decide to try four different cous cous by opting for two cous cous duos, which allow you to sample two cous cous. We also order a fritto misto (mixed fried fish, a staple of Italian seafood). We ask for some advice for the wine, which prompts the waitress to send the (alleged) sommelier. We ask the sommelier for a white wine, we were unsure whether to go for still or still or sparkling. He was no help, just pointed at the menu and said “Questo” (this) for still or “Questo” for sparkling. No description, no nothing. We pick the sparkling one. The worst had yet to come though. The food arrives suspiciously quickly. The mixed fried fish is honest to God the worst I’ve ever had. Scampis from an average chippy in London are far better and fresher. It was microwaved rubber squid, horrible. Just plain disgusting. The cous cous was microwaved too. The fish cous cous, the treasure of San Vito, had a couple of dry, old bits of tuna and a couple of sad looking prawns. I could go on and on but the bottom line is that you’re paying top dollar for microwaved food. I don’t know what happened to the Michelin critics, whether they were bribed, threatened or drunk, but this is honestly one of the worst (considering the price) restaurants I’ve ever been. A complete mug off.More

So lucky to have “discovered” this restaurant on our last night. Walked by and asked about a table and was told we could sit at 8:30 if we left by 10. Were brought inside to an enormous and beautiful garden packed with diners. The food...was outstanding. In spite of the cous cous name, we ordered two pasta dishes (BUSIATA ALLA NORMA and BUSIATE ALBA MARINA) and one fish (SARDE A BECCAFICO) which we had as a starter. The flavors of each dish were indescribable. Sardines were morsels of deliciousness. Make a reservation. Service outstanding. English spoken.More

From the food to the staff, everything was 10/10! Diana our server was lovely and made some great recommendations, the chef Antonino made the best cous cous and tuna steak I have ever eaten! The aperol spritz were also lovely. Will definitely come back again!

The place is very beautiful, especially the inside garden. Staff are very polite and attentive. Couscous is over the top with a great variety of flavours, mostly with fish. I would say the very best couscous in Sicily. To not miss if you visit San...Vito Lo Capo. Make sure to make a booking especially for dinner.More

For me should be zero! By the way i was in this restaurant a few years ago the food was good.. but not michelin star again!More
