One of best dinners had while in Italy for 51/2 weeks. We ate at Capogrossi for 3 nights for dinner before heading home to Australia. Seafood and pasta dishes where excellent, at a couple of stages Vito brought out some tasting plates of catoletti small baby calamari (unbelievably good) also risotto with scampi sauce. Service was very good and prices... More

We where looking for an Italian restaurant with good quality food. We first had a dissapointing visit to the retaurant L'Osteria dei La Ginestra (best restaurant in Fumicino according to TripAdvisor - I cannot understand why). Fortunatly we then ended up here at the terrace of restaurant Capogrossi with a view of the canal and the fishingboats. We had mostly... More

Aside from family home cooked meals, this is the best meal we had in our three weeks in Italy. All preceding reviews are bang-on. They are open in the afternoon which is a rarity, and we took advantage by having an early supper before checking in to our airport hotel for our flight the next day. Lobster linguine to die... More

We were so happy that we selected this restaurant! You can expect truly excellent service, especially if you are so lucky as to get Vito assigned for your table. A true professional! The food was very good, we had seafood all through the meal, fried baby squids and tuna carpaccio were our favourite starters. For my husband, Vito suggested creamy... More

We had a caprese salad and melon with ham to start. The. I had the sea bream baked with potatoes with grilled vegetables whilst my husband had steak and chips. The sea bream was stunning, we were too full for desserts. We also had water and two diet cokes and the bill was 67 euros.

From the moment we arrived, the service and attention was second to none. The food was the same and we would most definitely recommend. The best meal we have had in 6 weeks in Italy (from Australia)

Very close to the airport we were looking for a good restaurant still open on a Sunday afternoon (2:30) in September and found it in Ristorante Capogrossi. An excellent meal for 5 with fish starters - the best was the tempura fish! Very hospitable and good price. A great find - before tackling the airport.

The perfect lunch on a hot summer's day.Unpretentious but imaginative menu; totally professional service; no attempt to up-sell or boost our spend - and delicious food.
