Olga's doesn't look like much on the outside (or inside), but it's one of two restaurants in Nosara that is allowed (maybe grandfathered in?) to be on the beach. Watching the sunset from the patio, margarita in hand, is hard to beat. Tune out the jarring techno music if you can, because you don't want to miss what has to... More

Didn't eat at Bar Olgas, felt it was more for locals and didn't look as clean as I like, but we did have delicious fresh pineapple smoothies after a long walk along Playa Nosara beach

We did not eat at Olga's but enjoyed a few beers while enjoying the beach, sunset. Very casual, friendly service. Enjoyed speaking and sharing experiences with other travelers. Cold beer. Great view. It could become my go to place in the area.

This place was a perfect beach spot. The most affordable beer around, great fresh fish, and a perfect place to watch the sunset, go tide pooling, or jump in for a swim. And they have soccer/futbol games on inside too. But the outside is where it's at. Breathtakingly pretty.

Olga's, you have my heart! We spent a few nights here having a few beers and some food. It was all delicious and so affordable. The bartender was a super cool guy. He knew us gringo's weren't local and took good care of us. When we were confused about how to tip him in colones, he stopped us before giving... More

We went to Olgas twice for lunch. The location on Playa Pelada is amazing. On my first visit I had the red snapper with a garlic butter over rice. Amazing. On our second visit we just wanted apps so we ordered the wings, we ended up with 1/2 a breaded chicken wings attached. No very good. Stick to the fish... More

We were turned on to Olga's by our friend Michelle over at Living Hotel. She told us to order the whole fish, sit at the beach, go for a swim, come back and eat... Well we had a long walk on Playa Pelada, arrived, ordered the whole fish (garlic) and it was the PHENOMENAL! My wife said that it might... More

You can tell this is a low key place that has the beach bum atmosphere. People from all over sat around us and enjoyed family meals and beach days with friends. There was a bar on the opposite side of us that also seemed busy for noon, but it's Costa Rica on a holiday. We ordered Avocado salad and Casado.... More

What else do you need to hear? Oh, it's on the beach and perfect for watching the surfers! Low tide allows for walking on the rocks and around the coast all the way to Nosara proper.

The food is average. It's absolutely fine and our meal was decent, but not particularly memorable. There is better "tipico" food in town at a soda. However, the views are gorgeous -- you can watch the sunset on the Pacific. The kids can play in a pick-up game of soccer on the sand in front of Olga's. And there is... More
