From a vegan perspective they catered to us without hesitsion. Pizza without cheese was amazing, the salads were crisp and fresh, the spaghetti...although probably had egg in it, was a guilty pleasure. An amazing oasis of Italy in a Costa Rican forest! Even had limoncello for desert! My new favorite resturaunt anywhere. Period. (And the sangria was incredible!)

This place was really close to our rented house, so we ate here a few times during our stay in Nosara. It never disappointed. Drinks were tasty and the fruit juices were yummy. All our food was fresh and well-seasoned. Only one complaint was the crazy drunk guitarist who performed on the weekend. Seems a better musician could've been employed... More

This place is on the main road and has a great menu selection. You have to try their pizza and spagehetti. They also make an incredible blackened Mahi. The service was great and it is very laid back.

Great Tuna and ceviche. The fish was really fresh. The tuna carpaccio was great. With so many good places to eat in Playa Guiones, Il Basico and the Beach Dog were the only places we went back to more than once.

The pizza was fine, a bit more cheese than crust though. The service was not very friendly and it was hard to ask a question or get the check, but not a big deal.
