HOLY COW, best breakfast in the area

Best breakfast you will ever eat. I would highly recommend the homemade banana pancakes and a smoothie. It takes a little longer than most restaurants, but it is well worth the extra 5 or 10 minutes to get something made from scratch right behind the counter.

Good food and the prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. Steak casado and banana drink were tasty.

Rosi's was recommended by the staff at my retreat center. The menu is limited but the food is tasty and the atmosphere is authentic. The staff speaks very little English but was happy to work with my broken Spanish. I ate my sandwich and Coke (in a bottle!) along side tourists, surfers, and local workers.

This place is tiny and gets full, but worth it. Reasonable prices authentic Tico food. Tacos, soups, salads rice dishes and so on. My wife and I had tasty meals and fruit drinks. Rosi's fish tacos my have the Surf Dog beat. All made in an incredibly tiny kitchen. There's not much room for ambiance, like I said tiny, but... More

Had a hard time finding it, drove by several times, its just across from the cafe de Paris. It was good, but not amazing, breakfast is breakfast.

Rosi's is the real Costa Rica experience. Great for breakfast. Friendly and inexpensive. Don't miss it if you're in Nosara.

All my friends swear by Rosi's for Typico Costa Rican food . . . I've always thought it is so-so. Service can be slightly rude -- just expect that and if you like this type of food you'll probably love it. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

As the title suggests, I like to sit here at the lunch counter and eat. I usually just scope out what the Ticos sitting next to me are having and mutter something like: Quiero el mismo casado que el tiene. A sure fire way to make friends and get a good meal. The service is nothing special, nor is the... More

Returned to Rosi's on this, our second, visit to the region. Rosi's location has changed slightly (to the main drag on Guiones). The food was excellent and very reasonably priced - finding a table can sometimes be challenging. I recommend the clear soups (fish or chicken), but we tried all the dishes and all were good. Suggest the watermelon juice... More

This is the best lunch in Playa Guiones for the price. Very authentic Costa Rican food, and a family of three can eat for $25 and leave stuffed. You could walk here from the beach in about 10 minutes. This is a must if you're in town.
