Top of the world location!

Marlin Bill's boasts a hilltop view of the ocean. We arrived just as it was getting dark so did not get to enjoy the view. We really like the open air dining and the restaurant cat. Menu's are ever changing and are brought over on a whiteboard propped on a chair. Food and prices were... read more

We went to Marlin Bills for an afternoon cocktail hour. We were the only ones in the restaurant since they didn't open for dinner until 6pm. My boyfriend ordered a bloody mary which he finished in less than 10 minutes. He seemed very unimpressed and even described it as watered down cocktail sauce. Yikes! I had a mediocre pina colada.... The food orders are placed in order of when parties arrive. My husband and I were starving when we got there and had to wait 40 minutes for other groups to order before we were allowed. The live music was not that great and the food quality and quantity was scarce for the price. It was kind of like a... More

Really nice owner and waitstaff . They even stayed open late so we could watch the ACC championship (Go Tigers). Liked it so much that we went back twice, first time had chicken parm , second trip got a mega burger. Both meals were great and enough food to fill the largest appetite .

Marlin Bill's sits up a hill with a view of the ocean, one of the few that have that view. Good comfort food like hamberger and fries as well as delicious seafood. Try the dorado fish sandwich. Cold beer and a friendly atmosphere round out a family friendly place. Pet the cat.

We went for dinner on a quiet night. We were lucky that they just had a delivery of the catch of the day. Very friendly lady, the food was average, not spectacular.

We got in by coicidence and found the perfect place. The atmophere was great; as we arrived we were offered complimentary salads, warm bread and 2 salsa's of our choice . A great way to start a nice dinner. I wanted to order the tuna based on what I saw TA recommended but as they didn't have it, I went... More

We stopped in at Marlin Bill's upon arrival in Nosara. Staff was fantastic, service was terrific, and food was very good, and very large portions. Sadly, there were so many other places to choose from, we didn't make it back this time, but we'll see you again next time we're in Nosara.

Just on the main road, I'm sure they get a lot of people stopping in due to location. I've been here three times and have not had a good experience. From the food to the service . . . nothing good to say.

We went with friends who live near the restaurant. They raved about the food and suggested my wife order the tuna and I the chicken parmesan. My wife liked the tuna though she said she has often had better. The chicken parmesan was not even average yet my friend continued to rave about it. Perhaps I had a cold or... More
