Don't order the pizza - it was as if it were frozen not fresh. Atmosphere was good and drinks were cold.

Case Toucan was my home away from home. Every day from fruit before surfing, to dinner after a long day, Casa Toucan provided delicious meals and wonderful service. As I was staying at Casa Toucan Hotel I had an opportunity to sample many of their delicious dishes and daily specials, and I did not have a bad meal once! I...

Great place to stay and have fun and go surf , staff is courteous and food is great ! Rooms were clean and reasonable for the remote location of Nosara and GUIONES GREAT WAVES !
Very laid back atmosphere, prices are a little high which is standard for Nosara. Surf movies constantly playing on the TVs and very cold beer were the highlights for me. Service was great and the place was clean. A good option for a casual dinner or a great place to stop for a beer.
Had an excellent meal here the other night. The blackened snapper and tuna were delicious. Nice and friendly service too. Karaoke Thursdays and Saturdays - if that's your thing.
This a a fabulous little spot tucked away from the dusty road by some high hedges. They've got lots of seafood options and a meh vegetarian pizza. However, if you love microbrews and are feeling sad that Costa Rica is lacking them, the Tucan serves Segua! Hooray. It's a red IPA. Enjoy.
There's generally a good vibe at the Tucan....

More rooms have been added since then, and the bar / restaurant remains to...

The environment is outdoors -- perfect after-surfing restaurant. The TV at the bar plays constant surf movies (my girlfriend had to position me with my back to the TV) and the environment is laid back and friendly. Great Papaya smoothies and veggie friendly. I never tired of the Casados.
Food was average here. Not bad, but not great either.
Very casual and laid back atmosphere. The food was pretty good although we were not fans of the pizza. The drinks and the service were good. The prices were average for the area.
