Great views with equally compelling food. Worth the drive and the reservation. Unbelievable beach front location.

La Dolce Vita was on my wish list for this trip from the start, since I heard they did gluten-free pasta and I am always looking to support places that are willing to support people who have to eat gluten free. The restaurant has the vibe of a tree house hidden away in the jungle, felt really romantic and cozy... More

We read such great reviews that we were really looking forward to dining here with our Italian friend when he came to town. My husband and I had a pasta with ham and cheese and though it was good, it was too expensive for what we got (not enough) and the price was too high ($17 I believe). Our friends... More

We ate here on our last night as the reviews were good and we wanted to save the best for last! For our mains I got a lobster dish with spaghetti and my girlfriend got the mussels/chicken with spaghetti. Both meals were very tasty and the portion sizes were big. The restaurant owner came and spoke with us a few... More

We passed this place on the way in and my wife who is allergic to gluten learned they had gluten free pastas - so this was on our short list of places to eat. We called and made a reservation and headed on over. We were greeted by the owner who was very nice and helpful. He discussed what GF... More

Roberto Rocks! By far the best meal we ate in the area. We went there twice and were blown away both times. Remember to bring cash as credit cards are not accepted. A must visit for anyone in the area.

Just got back from Nosara, ate at Dolce Vita last Friday, the food was excellent, service impeccable, portions are very large, great value for the money. Had tim to chat and laugh with Roberto. My kids (12 & 7) wanted to go back again the follwoing evening. If you are using a rental car GPS, it will take you to... More

Have eaten here several times with buds on surf trips, recently went with our wives and had just a wonderful meal! Roberto is one of the best host/owners you will ever meet, passionate, entertaining, one would think you were actually in Tuscany! Everything, apps, mains, at our table of 8 was excellent, including the wines of which we drank much!... More

So good! Roberto was very entertaining and the food was amazing. He had gluten free pasta and was happy to also accommodate a vegetarian. My husband and I shared a burrata appetizer and a ravioli special. Everything was fresh and clearly homemade. We all shared desserts as well - the mousse was to die for. He brought a treat of...
