The best restaurant in Barga - a must to try.

What a find. This restaurant is hidden in the narrow dark alleys in the old part of Barga. The food is refined, well cooked Italian fare at very reasonable prices. Pasta and steaks are excellent as is the wine selection. You are made to feel very welcome by the attentive owner and staff, who go... read more

Truffle pasta was delicious, so was the swordfish pasta and the over baked trout. The grilled beef was a bit overdone, but the friendly service made up for it!

Very good near the theater in the old section of Town. Actually had sushi appetizer which was delicious. The usual Caprese (can you even get a bad Caprese in Italy) followed by a few very good pasta courses and a juicy pork tenderloin. Nice house wine and fine desserts. Always good to explore the neighborhood

Very pleasant lunch experience with good food and friendly service. Prices are reasonable. The place seems a little bit dark from outside, but has a little balcony with just a few tables at the back. Try to get a table there. I really enjoyed the view of nature wilderness and old historic walls.

My wife and I have been in Italy for over a week now (Rome and Tuscany), and this is the best meal we have had so far this trip. Just an amazing dinner experience, and the owner and staff were so welcome and attentive. We had the prawns appetizer, truffle pappardelle, pesto Kamut pasta, Steak Florentine, and finally coconut soufflé.... More

One of the very best meals of my life and I am of Italian heritage and a very good cook, so therefore, very, very picky about my food! Arrived late afternoon and the owner was very hospitable - welcoming my family and I into the restaurant. Helpful with suggestions on the menu. Kids first course was pasta pomodoro and pasta... Great small restaurant in small tuscan town of Barga. Small establishment requiring reservation but completely worth it. Menu is seasonal and changes with what's available. We had fresh mozzarella ravioli, beef filet with seasonal truffles and a dark/white chocolate souffle. All were fresh and tasty. Great value as well.

Lovely restaurant with great pasta and fish - but make sure you leave room for pudding. The coconut and white chocolate souffle is a must at this restaurant. We ate here twice during our holiday and the service was outstanding.

We had a completely enjoyable dinner in this tiny town in Tuscany. We sat outside in a romantic setting and ate the most amazing dishes. Complimentary prosecco preceded a wonderful tasting tray of charcuterie. We added a first course of spaghetti (perfectly done) with swordfish, radish, and pistachios. Nearly full, we plowed on with a beef filet with truffles and... More

It was all ok, nothing more, nothing less. As in most restaurants in Italy it was easy to arrange my food to be gluten free changing the pasta and one of the sauces. Watching the chefs at work in the kitchen actually decreased our appetite as it looked like the cooking was done without any pleasure or passion - that's... More
