My daughter and son in law took us to Barnacle Phils for lunch. Now just to let you know that the only way your getting there is by boat or air (small landing strip). That being said... It was a very cool laid back place to eat. Very casual and islandish. The food was great and I had the coconut... More

After sailing the high seas for a few hours Barnacle Phil's was a welcome sight. A really relaxing and laid back retreat that served all the expected burgers, hotdogs and salads along with ice cold beers expected. Really enjoyed down to earth hostelry that is what exactly it says on the tin Highly recommended if you happen to be passing... More

We saw this place while out on a boat ride with friends. It looked interesting so we docked. After seeing a Manatee by the dock, we strolled up to the restaurant. A barefooted guiter player singer was performing some laid back melodies. We only ordered a few beers and some fries, The beer was cold and the fires were excellent.... More

OMG! After days of Famous Daves BBQ (love it!!!) we finally enjoyed southwest florida's famous grouper sandwich. Man it did not disappoint! We rode up to Barnacle Phil's on seadoos (I recommend Rentaseadoo.com highly) there is something very cool about cruising up to a seafood resturant on the water... The grouper sandwich and drinks were perfect! The grouper was cooked... More

This is a great place to unwind and relax. The drinks are ice cold and the atmosphere doesn't get much better. The guitarist was really nice. Everyone had a great time.

We ate here twice. It's hard to put a "best meal" or 1-5 rating because the 2 visits were so different. The first time a poor woman was doing the cooking and the waitressing. She was overwhelmed, and the food and service suffered. Rating: average Went back last Tuesday (7/29) for dinner and what a good choice. The person cooking... More

We stayed in Captiva and rented a boat for the day. We decided to stop at Barnacle Phil's for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised! We were able to cool off in the air conditioned restaurant while being served great drinks and food by our super nice waiter, Tyler. We had a party of 10 and we were all very pleased... More
