This restaurant is true island style. It is very laid back. I loved my fresh covio fish sandwich. Service was great. Atmosphere wonderful. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed in Captiva and rented a boat for the day. We decided to stop at Barnacle Phil's for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised! We were able to cool off in the air conditioned restaurant while being served great drinks and food by our super nice waiter, Tyler. We had a party of 10 and we were all very pleased... More

What's not to love about a restaurant where you can arrive by boat, in your swimsuit, eat outside, and generally feel that you've been cast in a Gilligan's Island revival? Our kids, now in their 20's, want to come here every year on vacation. Just a fun place, with pricey burgers that aren't all that good, but somehow taste better... More

This is definitely an island time restaurant requiring anything other than land transportation to get there. The trip over by boat was gorgeous and the food was the best we've had in that part of FL. We enjoyed eating outside barefoot in the sand with the cool breeze-never went inside. There is also a small gift shop upstairs that sells... More

Restaurant: Our family of 7 ate at Barnacle Phil's for lunch and the food was great. We had burgers, shrimp tacos, kids chicken fingers, wings... and all was delicious. The service was very slow so we asked for pitchers of iced tea for the table to avoid having to ask our server for refills. The total bill was over $150... More

We went to Barnacles on Friday the 13th with the Adventures in Paradise Lunch excursion. I was prepared to order the fish, but they were out. So I ended up getting the waitress pick. It was okay just fair. My daughter got the chicken fingers and a side of black beans and rice. Needless to say our dinner was $50.... More

Located on the north end of North Captiva Island, getting here by boat is the only option, so we were very happy to join some good friends and give this place a try. As a casual, on the water restaurant and bar, I thought it was certainly above average. We had a beans & rice soup (okay), a hearts of... More

Yes, it could be said that the food is pricey. But keep in mind that this is island dining at a seasonal location. Not only does the food have to come by water, so does the staff. There is a shuttle service or sorts from Pine Island that brings the staff and the culinary ingredients. So things should be a... More

As locals, we have had many good times there. On our recent visit Memorial Day, the prices were crazy. We will not go back. That said, if money is no object, the food was quite tasty.

Ok- slow slow slow, rude waitress, lack of quality standards, and over-priced for what you get. They have got to be aware of the tour boat times. One would think a place pretentious enough to charge $14 for a hamburger would be a little more on it. Food was just ok. Nothing I couldn't have made at home. We waited... More
