Description: Barnacle's Island Resorts has many vacation rental properties to accommodate groups of all sizes. For more information on our vacation rental properties, please visit our website at www.Barnaclesislandresort.Com If you're staying on the island for a while and want to bring your own boat, no problem. We offer dock rentals as well. Pine Island Sound has some of the best fishing in the world. We offer many different kinds of fishing charters so you can catch whatever it is you want to catch. Being that we are based right at the best water front location, Pineland Marina, you are litterally in prime fishing grounds the moment you leave the docks! Barnacle's Kayak Rentals offer you access to the Caloosa Blueway and an up close in personal experience of local wildlife in its natural, undisturbed habitat. Barnacle's Fishing Charters - Redfish, Trout, Snook, Tarpon, Shark, and all the saltwater fish in between People come from all over the world to fish our waters. When you arrive at Pineland Marina, you'll see why some of the best guides in Florida call it their home. You'll catch a wide variety of fish on every trip. Barnacle's offers the best inshore and offshore fishing trips on the Islands. Spend a half day or full day with one of our experienced guides. We are very close to the neighboring islands of Captiva, Cayo Costa, and Boca Grande which is known as the Tarpon Capital of the world. Visit the secluded Florida state park beaches that are only accessible by boat. This island wildlife preservation is home to rare bobcats, Bald Eagles, sea turtles, gofer tortoises and many more creatures. North Captiva offers you an exclusive opportunity to explore these undeveloped state park beaches. Barnacle's Guided ECO-Tours Our guided kayak eco-tours are a great way to explore the waters on Pine Island Sound. Adventures offers a 2 1/2 hour trip exploring our amazing eco-system and a change to get up close and personal with our many resident dolphins. Barnacle's Golf Cart Rentals If you are visiting North Captiva, Barnacles Island Adventures has golf cart rentals available daily, weekly and monthly. There are no motored vehicles permitted on the island, so if you're staying for a while, this is something you may want to check into. There is no grocery store on the island. So if you're staying for a few days, we encourage you to grab plenty of pantry items prior to your trip over. However, if you do forget something or run out of anything, we offer a grocery service: write down a list of items you need, and we will go back to the mainland to pick them up for you. Barnacle's restaurant has a variety of dishes from seafood, burgers, pasta and our famous black beans and rice to our home made key lime pie. Our Ice cream shop carries only the best, Queenie's Ice Cream, home made ice cream made fresh with locally grown ingredients.

Love the outdoor thatched dining pavilion and island atmosphere. Great, friendly staff. Won't find a nicer spot in this remote island location. The food is good. Tacos with mahi mahi, burgers, grouper sandwiches. Prices are high, so do be prepared. 2 fish tacos were $18. The burger was $14. Coconut shrimp -7 for $15. This is fair for a location... More

Went here as part of a cruise with Adventures in Paradise. Food was pricy but when you consider the only way to get there is by boat or plane it is understandable. We tried the Barnacle Dog, some crab cakes and beans and rice. All were very tasty. There is indoor and outdoor seating. After lunch we went to the... More

This place is truly out in the middle of nowhere. It's all about the experience. You have to go by boat unless you know someone who will let you land your plane there but getting there is a large part of the fun.

We arrived on the Calusa Queen tour boat from Burnt Store Marina, all 23 of us, all at once and were greeted warmly, and served immediately. The food and drinks were excellent and the wait staff was friendly. Barnacle Phil's is a fun place to relax and enjoy a good meal on a beautiful island!

If you find yourself near North Captiva Island,Fl, follow the narrow channel round to Barnacle Phil's. You will find plenty of space to tie up your boat. We visited on 1st Dec 2014. The service was quick and friendly and the food was of a good standard. much of the ingredients are sourced locally. I wasn't too hungry and decided... More

We rented a boat in Cape Coral and were told that if we traveled out to Captiva we would find a little place for lunch. It was a great ride and Barnacle Phil's is Wonderful! You can only get there by boat or ferry. The food was simple, but very good! The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a... More

This is another place where I cannot separate the trip and experience of getting there by boat and the fun of sitting there and the meal. I hope you have the same dilema. Give it a try. Lots of fun whenever we go there and we have been there 1,417 by actual count. Ok I exaggerated a bit.

My daughter and son in law took us to Barnacle Phils for lunch. Now just to let you know that the only way your getting there is by boat or air (small landing strip). That being said... It was a very cool laid back place to eat. Very casual and islandish. The food was great and I had the coconut... More

After sailing the high seas for a few hours Barnacle Phil's was a welcome sight. A really relaxing and laid back retreat that served all the expected burgers, hotdogs and salads along with ice cold beers expected. Really enjoyed down to earth hostelry that is what exactly it says on the tin Highly recommended if you happen to be passing... More

We saw this place while out on a boat ride with friends. It looked interesting so we docked. After seeing a Manatee by the dock, we strolled up to the restaurant. A barefooted guiter player singer was performing some laid back melodies. We only ordered a few beers and some fries, The beer was cold and the fires were excellent.... More
