Barnacle's Island Resorts has many vacation rental properties to accommodate groups of all sizes. For more information on our vacation rental properties, please visit our website at www.Barnaclesislandresort.Com If you're staying on the island for a while and want to bring your own boat, no problem. We offer dock rentals as well. Pine Island Sound has some of the best fishing in the world. We offer many different kinds of fishing charters so you can catch whatever it is you want to catch. Being that we are based right at the best water front location, Pineland Marina, you are litterally in prime fishing grounds the moment you leave the docks! Barnacle's Kayak Rentals offer you access to the Caloosa Blueway and an up close in personal experience of local wildlife in its natural, undisturbed habitat. Barnacle's Fishing Charters - Redfish, Trout, Snook, Tarpon, Shark, and all the saltwater fish in between People come from all over the world to fish our waters. When you arrive at Pineland Marina, you'll see why some of the best guides in Florida call it their home. You'll catch a wide variety of fish on every trip. Barnacle's offers the best inshore and offshore fishing trips on the Islands. Spend a half day or full day with one of our experienced guides. We are very close to the neighboring islands of Captiva, Cayo Costa, and Boca Grande which is known as the Tarpon Capital of the world. Visit the secluded Florida state park beaches that are only accessible by boat. This island wildlife preservation is home to rare bobcats, Bald Eagles, sea turtles, gofer tortoises and many more creatures. North Captiva offers you an exclusive opportunity to explore these undeveloped state park beaches. Barnacle's Guided ECO-Tours Our guided kayak eco-tours are a great way to explore the waters on Pine Island Sound. Adventures offers a 2 1/2 hour trip exploring our amazing eco-system and a change to get up close and personal with our many resident dolphins. Barnacle's Golf Cart Rentals If you are visiting North Captiva, Barnacles Island Adventures has golf cart rentals available daily, weekly and monthly. There are no motored vehicles permitted on the island, so if you're staying for a while, this is something you may want to check into. There is no grocery store on the island. So if you're staying for a few days, we encourage you to grab plenty of pantry items prior to your trip over. However, if you do forget something or run out of anything, we offer a grocery service: write down a list of items you need, and we will go back to the mainland to pick them up for you. Barnacle's restaurant has a variety of dishes from seafood, burgers, pasta and our famous black beans and rice to our home made key lime pie. Our Ice cream shop carries only the best, Queenie's Ice Cream, home made ice cream made fresh with locally grown ingredients.

Food is always good but they now have a new rule that tables cannot be shared even if there are no other tables available!! Excuse given is occupancy limit. But what does max occupancy have to do with how many sit at a table vs how many total patrons if total is under max occupancy. Crazy stupid rule that inconveniences... More

We took a great shelling cruise and stopped here on our way back to Sanibel. My son loved the "Nautical Mile." I really enjoyed the Brie and cranberry sandwhich. The kitchen can only serve a limited amount if people.... So get there early.

Our family stayed a week on this great island! No cars, only golf carts and boats to get around! There are four restaurants on the island- Barnacle's was one of our favorites!! The best coconut shrimp and sangria!!! Fun atmosphere, a lot of people come by boat so it fills up around lunch time! We ate several times during our... More

This is not the place to be in a hurry! Kick back and enjoy the surroundings. There are games to play outside, ice cream and gift shop upstairs. I recommend the black beans and rice and the fried gulf shrimp-they are large and in charge!

27 years we have been coming down to Sanibel and Captiva and never have we been to this place. We docked at 1:00, found a spot for 4 at a picnic table in about 15 minutes and waited 1/2 hour for the ONLY waiter to arrive. He was working hard and probably a good guy but from there, it was... More

I'm not sure how to rate this restaurant because we never got there. Planned to go, but couldn't find it. When I called them, I was told the only way to get there was by BOAT. Needless to say, we couldn't go.

When with the family after a long hot day hiking the park on the southern end of the island. And this was a good way to finish off the day. The resultant seating is mainly outside under a hut pavilion looking structure on picnic tables. I Beale there is some seating inside. The sodas are served in a can with... More

The only way to get to this island is by boat or plane. And the folks that live by and own the airstrip are understandably protective of it. Soooo, plan to come by boat. When my wife and I are taking folks on a tour around Pine Island this is highly recommended and I have never left with someone saying... More
