Barnacle's Island Resorts has many vacation rental properties to accommodate groups of all sizes. For more information on our vacation rental properties, please visit our website at www.Barnaclesislandresort.Com If you're staying on the island for a while and want to bring your own boat, no problem. We offer dock rentals as well. Pine Island Sound has some of the best fishing in the world. We offer many different kinds of fishing charters so you can catch whatever it is you want to catch. Being that we are based right at the best water front location, Pineland Marina, you are litterally in prime fishing grounds the moment you leave the docks! Barnacle's Kayak Rentals offer you access to the Caloosa Blueway and an up close in personal experience of local wildlife in its natural, undisturbed habitat. Barnacle's Fishing Charters - Redfish, Trout, Snook, Tarpon, Shark, and all the saltwater fish in between People come from all over the world to fish our waters. When you arrive at Pineland Marina, you'll see why some of the best guides in Florida call it their home. You'll catch a wide variety of fish on every trip. Barnacle's offers the best inshore and offshore fishing trips on the Islands. Spend a half day or full day with one of our experienced guides. We are very close to the neighboring islands of Captiva, Cayo Costa, and Boca Grande which is known as the Tarpon Capital of the world. Visit the secluded Florida state park beaches that are only accessible by boat. This island wildlife preservation is home to rare bobcats, Bald Eagles, sea turtles, gofer tortoises and many more creatures. North Captiva offers you an exclusive opportunity to explore these undeveloped state park beaches. Barnacle's Guided ECO-Tours Our guided kayak eco-tours are a great way to explore the waters on Pine Island Sound. Adventures offers a 2 1/2 hour trip exploring our amazing eco-system and a change to get up close and personal with our many resident dolphins. Barnacle's Golf Cart Rentals If you are visiting North Captiva, Barnacles Island Adventures has golf cart rentals available daily, weekly and monthly. There are no motored vehicles permitted on the island, so if you're staying for a while, this is something you may want to check into. There is no grocery store on the island. So if you're staying for a few days, we encourage you to grab plenty of pantry items prior to your trip over. However, if you do forget something or run out of anything, we offer a grocery service: write down a list of items you need, and we will go back to the mainland to pick them up for you. Barnacle's restaurant has a variety of dishes from seafood, burgers, pasta and our famous black beans and rice to our home made key lime pie. Our Ice cream shop carries only the best, Queenie's Ice Cream, home made ice cream made fresh with locally grown ingredients.

We stopped at Barnacle's as part of a day trip to North Captiva. What a treat to be able to see that part of the island. It was beautiful. Barnacles was a cute little beach place that seems to have quite a following. The place was half full (room for about 40 inside and several picnic tables outside) when we... More

it was a very hot day, and we ate inside. On my last visit I sat outside. Inside is small, but cool! I had the Havana, done Cajun style with mango salsa, plantains, chips and guacamole. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband had a burger, equally delicious. Prices are higher than on the mainland, but island pricing reflects the... More

We brought mostly all of our meals to North Captiva Island for the week. But when we wanted to experience a little more social scene we would head up there for beers and snacks.

We love Barnacles! Always great burgers, fresh seafood, and love the fish tacos! Prices high but you're on vacation and it's an island, so understandable! Shoutout to Kevin who wears many hats - he works so hard but keeps on smiling!

Fantastic burgers and was served with crab cake. Yummy! Fish tacos fresh with delicious guacamole. Pass on the beer. It's lukewarm. Get something with ice. Great service by a sweet server!!

This is our place on the island. Absolutely delicious! Yes the prices are a bit high, but considering that everything must be boated in from the mainland; they are very reasonable. Our whole family, enjoyed their food, and no complaints. We highly recommend it to anyone traveling to North Captiva

The list of things bad things to say about this dump is too long to write so I'll enumerate my main complaints: 1) when you ask for water they bring you bottled water and charge you. They don't ask if you want tap water or bottled. Let's assume their island water is unpalatable. The solution is to bring your own--but... More

We only ate the ice cream here (served upstairs in the gift shop) but it was so good that we came back twice. The key lime pie ice cream was the best ice cream I have ever had and the toasted coconut was also very good.
