It's Huge!

An enormous single story "warehouse" that can sit hundreds in season located feet from the beach. It was early spring when we had the best toasted B.L.T. sandwich in a long time. Staff young, (students out of school) and well rehearsed in their chosen summer vocation. We'll be back.

Horrible fries. Orangeade could cause a diabetic coma. Lousy food...overpriced. Avoid at all.costs if you can

Our second ever visit to Port Stanley - just out for a drive. Almost lunch time and I had a craving for fresh fish. Nothing seemed to advertise my wish but there were quite a few vehicles around this place so thought we would give it a try. While waiting for our order to come up, I overheard other patrons... Haven't been to Mackie's in quite a long time, so I was going in with fresh eyes. The fries are very good. A family size fry feeds three or four people for around $8. The rest of the food was ok at best. The burgers were flat, dry, and not tasty. The chicken nuggets were very basic and mushy. There's... More

We visited on a May weekend before the real busy season begins. What a great throwback to our earlier beach days. The orangeade is very special and worthy of its reputation . The fries are spectacular. I had the perch too which is representative of 'Port'. There are lots of family things (amusement games) in the place so everyone can... More

The family sized fry is gigantic. The fries were good the burgers were tasty - the service was fast considering the size of the line. The only disappointment was the orangeade.

All we got was little scrap pieces of potatoes with the blemishes for fries. Onion rings are better. Over priced for what you get. The fries are much better across the street or down the road at Port Bruce.

There's a lot of history at Mackies. It's THE place in Port Stanley to hang out in the summer, right on the beach, for people watching and for fresh fish and chips. Yellow perch right out of the lake, from Lake Erie. Very fresh. I'm not a fan of the light breading they use - it might only be flour,... More

Right on the beach. Very popular with every beach food possible, games room for kids, lots of seating inside and out. The pouting and famous Orangeade are top sellers. Nice to sit outside, eat and watch all the goings on on the. Beach. Even has basketball hoops to use.
